I a 35 druid found it hard to fight him. He killed me once, then kited him around for 15 mins befor I decided to gate the hell out. His healing ability just blew my mana, and I couldnt keep his ass rooted for long. I doted mad with droons of doom and immolated, then combust when I had mana. Saved the rest for snare and root, but the heals made up for it all(

Killed him the other day easy used a skele in front of me and i hit skeleton in melee , Creot heals the skele and i nuked him in a cycle he dropped a battle staff and head staff (5/38 ish ) +10 cha Eru only \ warrior/palidan/cleric usable not really worth the effort but was curious about the quest i was 44th druid at the time :)

Creot is a Paladin. Clerics cant use LoH.

This is one healing Mo Foe. I was lvl 41 and a Iksar monk when we fought he took me down to 2bubs after i used mend....He hangs out close to the pier.He found me .Agros like crazy.

i could get him over half health at lvl32 with my monk when i used mend. Hes not that hard.....like te ogre gaurs hat wonder th banks in feerott.

Was considering the quest and after reading the above posts I am left wondering why no one considered a DoT like Stinging Swarm or Creeping Crud to inhibit his ability to self heal. It may not stop the LoH but it should affect any other self healing that he might attempt.

The freak is tough. I was 36 when i fought him and buffed bz a high druid (thx magan) , He killed me twice.
In the 3rd attamed i brough a 35 druid along. We were both buffed bz a 16 lev enc lady (Thx Whyst) with breeze quickness and so on and it was a dam hard fight. One of the hardest i have fought so far. Without hte breeze we would have died. The sentinel is mean. His heals are very good. and he hits aound 40 each times. So be on guard. Dont underestimate him.

Faction hits with this guy are pretty severe. I went from indiff to apprehensive in one kill.
Thought it would be cool to get the Ghulam Bracer for my monk, so I had a friend port him in, then I dropped the Sentinel, and logged my monk in to loot. No prob, got a reasonably cool bracer.
Now, I can't use Erudin Merchants anymore. Also, tears up faction with the guards and Enchanter's Guild, too. Kinda bites into some quests I was hoping to do. :(

There is no way he killed a level 42 with no trouble. Im a 39 ranger and can kill him toe to toe with no problem and his heals really suck, so if he killed a 42 shaman you have no idea what the hell your doing. Some ranger named Jyded

I'm a level 39 druid, he is blue to me. He has a 23minute spawn time, spawns at a hut on the beach few thousand feet from Erudin entrance. I can solo him easily, he has full heal, but only casts it once, and hace low hitpoints, he is a Paladin, weak one at that. Yes, i was kiting him, but, even i could kill him toe to toe. I assume he's around level 35 or so con, but, doesn't fight like much more than a 30. I been trying to improve my Kerra Isle faction, and been killing him a lot. He does always drop a +5charisma lore staff, as well as his head. For his wandering path he wanders down the beach, although i always pull him before he gets very far, not sure where he goes after that. Creot's path will take him from the little fishing dock down the coast to the nearest little merchant hut. He may swing back the long way through the forest if he gets distracted by fire beetles, kobalds and the like, which he likes to slay "for the glory of Erudin" or something like that. Unless he's being camped, he's your typical wandering, KS'ing guard.
When he hits the fishing dock, he'll pause for about 10 seconds and say "Fear not, citizens, for Sentinal Creot is on the watch!"
For some reason, he's not watchful enough to take out the heretic necromancer standing a few feet away.
As with all of the Erudin guards, he's a paladin, and he will buff himself, lay hands, and heal as needed, plus he wears a tunic spiffier than any you'll be able to wear.

I attempted to kill Creot at level 36 (druid) and couldn't. He is level 30, he uses LOH at half health (which only took 2 bubs mana to reach with 175 wis) and then continued to cast heal after every blast until I was oom. Toe to toe with a damage shield, he nearly beat me down 3 times until I enlisted a lev 31 ranger to keep him busy while I nuked him to death. The staff is NOT +5 cha, it's +10 cha erud only war/cleric/paladin. Horrid stats for battle but effective as a crude stein for selling/buying. He is tougher than he looks, but only because he constantly heals, any warrior type class should be able to beat him fairly easy as long as they interrupt his heals with a bash and contrary to popular belief, you can interrupt LOH, I've done it before with a stun spell, but only once.

This fella is no longer level 30, He conned Red and killed a level 42 Troll Shaman with no trouble at all. He is most likely level 50, like the other guards in the forrest.

This fellow is a Cleric type and heals himself in combat. Yellow to level 30 druid.
