This is one of the easier camps to get to. Just go through the CY like you are going to the Dismay camp, but at the door to the Dismay area, take the door behind you. Proceed down several long hallways until you get to a door to the water area. Below the water is the globe thing where Avatar pops. The Cenobite spawns in the room below the globe.
The easiest approach is to camp in the room up the ramp. There's usually one or possibly two roamers who enter this room. Kill them. In the globe room, there will be 2 lizards that are actually in the room (as opposed to swimming in the globe or upper pool). One of these lizards will be the Cenobite or his PH. They are easy to single pull up the ramp to the room.
Cenobite hits for 2-3K max has maybe 200K hp. He's a healer so bring something to bash/stun/interrupt him. I killed him 3 times before i got the aug.

Where this guy spawns at?.
This mob spawns at what is generally referred to as the "Avatar" camp, named so because the Avatar of Fear also spawns here. The room is directly beneath the Pyramid and can be reached either through the sewers/gator pools, or from falling down the hole in the pyramid and swimming down through the hole in the center of the water-floor. The placeholder for the Cenobite is a wandering mob that roams beneath the giant green orb and never leaves the room.
