I am fairly sure the one in the north east is a potential PH for Brother Qwinn. The screen below may make monks cry but I took it after killing the escaped in the north east repeatedly.

Good loot for level

I've got my level 8 bard killing these guys whenever he sees them. They now drop various herbs and such -- alchemy makings, maybe -- that sometimes sell for a plat or more. That's nice loot for a level 8, especially since these escapees aren't all that tough and they are fairly plentiful in SK.

Incidentally, AllaKhazam's site calls SK the toughest of the Karanas. I don't know why. Except for the homers, nothing much will bother you in SK unless you bother it first, except the lowly wolves. You can pick your fights there. On the other hand, I've been in NK and been surrounded by three griffs and a grizzly, all of which aggro badly and were red to my level 8.
Off the topic, but yeah

Straight up, NK is the most dangerous. Except maybe EK. But not SK.

Tesch Mas Gnolls in SK are aggro (and in the mid-20's), but they're so heavily camped day and night, who cares?
