Very trippy pull cause when we tried to pull the seeker to zone he aggroed more and boom wizzies started nukin so we just worked our way over to the seeker and did it =D

Location: 326, 38, 28 Up stairs on the 3rd floor.
Female version despawns at 8pm game time, then re-popped at 9pm game time.
If you kill the female version, you will take a -250 faction hit which will most likely make you KOS in the temple.
Male version spawns at 9am game time. This is the version you need to kill.
Upon death, a blazing elemental spawns and attacks.

An easy way I found to do this is, have someone tag the * seeker*, then pull him to zone line, the person that tags him then zones out, while the seeker is standing there, the cleric, says *what plasmatic priest*, then does hand in, he turns into the priest, then group kills him at zoneline, very easy to do this way.

Just killed this guy with myself < 61 SK > and my friend a 56 Cleric . My friend the cleric got got beat down to a bub of life and managed to pull a gate out of his *** to zi and was quickly dead before I had a chance to get agro . I was beating him down fast while my friend was memin heals and between me my pet and a 1700 HT he had no time to Cheal at all . Grats Kpak on your drop and one step closer to epic !

This was odd.
When I got to the Temple with my kill team assembling, the Seeker was up and responded properly to the hails. I didn't know about the timed despawn, and just before we were ready...poof.
Then some female seeker spawned, just a regular one. So my druid guildie killed that and some "a blazing elemental" spawned...just a green-con fire elemental, indifferent. She killed that too. While waiting for 9am another chick spawned but we left her alone and by 6am game time she despawned.
Then at around 8am game time, the quest seeker spawned and the kill commenced as normal. Two groups, myself (56 cleric) 61 chanter 63 druid bunch of 50s, monk, bard, 49 cleric, 55 pally...I think 8 in all and it took about 2 minutes :)
SO if you're doing this and the seeker despawns on you...just wait half an hour. He'll be back.

With a good group this can be an easy fight. I handed in the Idol and gated to the entrance. The Plasmatic Priest came along nicely. He died in short order. He respawned quickly and a second cleric in our group was able to do the same. 2 up and 2 down.

My brother, a lvl 39 Shadowknight was finishing up his Darkforge armor quest in the temple when unbeknownst to him a group came in to do this part of the cleric's epic quest. They did not warn him or anyone that they were doing the quest. My brother was minding his own business and the next thing he knew a plasmatic priest was nuking the crap out of him. He was struck down by the judgement of the gods for 640dmg and the mob did mele damage of 140 per hit. My brother feigned death with only 36HP left. It probably screwed up the pull for the group who initiated the spawn. So please, warn others about what you are doing so they don't get caught in the crossfire-- and so you do not lose your pull.

Perhaps he meant "A robe that only clerics can wear" and not "The only robe that clerics can wear"? And yes, obviously there are other robes that clerics can wear...Crystal covered shroud, Robe of living fungas...to name a couple.

This mob still uses AoE, however it DOES NOT Aggro surrounding temple mobs. Took him down a few months ago where he stood, no aggro whatsoever, and he cast tremor 5 times.

OK so if you give him the statue can you just gate to the zone line? will he find his way there without having to follow you?
I arrived earlier than the rest (52 cleric) and proceeded to practice my escape route. After I handed in the statue I made a beeline right off the ledge and headed towards the zone. He followed and we took him down easily even though he snuck a cheal in there.
One thing to note: do NOT damage the plasmatic priest until you bring him to the zone. He summons and nothing is worse than being summoned all the while he is aggroing the rest of the damn temple. If that happens, the aggroed mobs will kill him and POOF! Start your epic all over again! This guy is not an undercon as some believe him to be.

Can be found top floor near library door in the back of the temple. There are 2 doors in back of temple, choose the right door closest to the library, will look like a throne room with 3 seekers, its the one on the left side of room (female=wrong mob, male=quest mob). Spawns 9am to 9pm.
Took him down with 57 clr, 52 mnk, 54 war, 50 war, 51 SK. He attacked me (Clr) most of the time I died when he was at 30% after 2 CH's on himself, I was bound just outside zone and i was oom so it worked out, I memed CH, DL, Rekoning, Stun, and zoned in to finish him off.
must use the words "What Solusek ro" and then "what plasmatic priest" if the 2nd phrase does not generate a response donot give him the statue cus its the wrong "a seeker".
I learned the hard way.

Have been told best thing is to turn in idol then make a B-line for the zone where the group is waiting to prevent his AoE from agroing others. but does turning in idol and him chasing me agro all the other npc's in the zone?
Would appreciate help. dont want to ***** up and have to start all over.

We went in to Temple of Sol Ro with a full group consisting of 60war 56dru 55enc 50bar 55ran and me (51clr) and the ranger pulled the seeker to zone. After handing in the statue, he turned into plas priest and proceeded to get OWNED. Total fight time was less than 30 seconds.

The Prasmatic Priest is lvl 55, and can be taken down with relative ease in a full group. we killed him with a 52 Clr(gift receiver), and 55 war, a 52 wiz, a 54 dru, and a shaman 54, we kicked him hard. Normal tactics apply but we made our clr happy real quick :) .

I am lvl 45 curently and am studying up on my epic. Theres no info on the pasmatic presit that I need to kill. I know hes a cleric and I know what I have to do to get him to spawn. What I want to know is whats his lvl. Do I need giuld to raid this guy,or can I get a war friend and kick his butt? Any help will be gratefully apretiated. :)

ok, if there is a cleric about to give this guy some stuff for his epic, i would say you shouldnt be finishing or starting a quest until the cleric is dont cause they have to kill a priest and he will attack you on sight and will kill you fast

The seeker is part of the cleric epic, you hand him a totem from Omat Vastsea and he turns into the Plasmatic Priest, the priest has a nasty aoe that will agro everyone in the temple onto you unles you get him to the zone where he can only damage you. The plasmatic priest drops the blood soaked Plasmatic Priest robe and a Darkwood Staff

This is the best way to avoid those numerous requests for rezs and heals and buffs etc... Only now you get begged for clarity and gates =P

Seekers are around lvl33-35 I believe, the robe is low AC (I can't remember the stats despite I carry mine at all times) and +2wis. Red like on the seekers themselves. Put it on, equip a crude stein and Cracked staff and pretend your an Enchanter :)

The seekers seem to be clerics and they drop the only robe a cleric can wear. Becareful when you attack them, other seekers around will heal the one you are attacking even if they are green and not agro. They are always buffed up and seem to have about 1200hp and they cast wraith on you 200 damage dd.

Weel, Considering that this is a thread for the seeker, and he is talking about killing seekers, then i'd say it's pretty relivant. It's not OT just cuz it's not about the cleric epic.
