Doable for 43 necro (half ornate, half rough defiant gear) with a cleric merc. Had to use 1 full mana pot. Accidentally wondered into his room + couple of giants. First FDed, then decided to take them all on (pretty stupid considering all are con red). Giants left half way through the fight, not sure why (maybe because only pet agroed them, but I doubt it).
Dot + tap + tank (merc healed till oom).

I just rocked this guy with a 48 Beastlord and a cleric merc, got him and two adds with no trouble, this guy isn't even a challange!

Killed fabled King 2 nights ago, droped the fabled crown and droped the torque but it was not fabled, just the normal one. Have a screenshot of it and will try to post it(new to posting on alla)

not postitive on this but our the when we where running in there the we did not see he was up, tank got agro by accident and hit fortitued, (da for 10sec) but as soon as he attacked said he was hit for 800 by a damange shield, when we actally killed him we did not test it, just dispelled him on the pull.(i was useing a 61pally to dispelle then da to pull) never saw the ds after that.
first real attemept we got him to 9% second try he died. was about 15people avg lvl 62,
not many hp just king has high dps, quick fight of kill or be killed. (2 chanters also charmed other giants to help)
Hope this guy is not up for naggy raid, would be ugly.

Well, just sitting here while my GF gabs on the phone and looking through random posts. Finally I remembered my first attempt at raiding Lord Nagafen (naggy) and thought I might look up my good buddy Tranix to see if anyone has killed him since the fabled nonsense. Saw your post and I must say that im glad to see someone killed his stanky *****
Im not great at telling stories so I'll make it brief. My guild, Knights of Love and War, decided to go raid naggy last saturday because were kinda new and that cloak of the flames is sweet(plus killing a dragon is an RPGer's dream). Basically we thought we had it all figured out..... About 15 of us, high 40s, low 50s (and a couple 60s to help us get there =/) zoned into Sol B and eventually came to the now legendary ramp up to Fabled King Tranix who, of course, was popped and standing right in our way. I briefly checked Alla and found out that he does indeed hit for 2k, quads, rampages, etc... Then, out of nowhere, a pompous 65 warr comes along and says, "Hey, ill just pull him and if i cant handle him you guys can finish him off." ROFL. Luckily we waited for backup (from our guild and his) and ran into the throne room. Well, this tank took 9 consecutive hits and dropped like Fippy Darkpaw does about 1000 times a day at good ole Qeynos---- that's where the fun started....
I was hit 3 times and dropped [52 pally, 4.8k hp, 1200 ac] along with all of my guildies, one at a time. Then we started rezzing.... =/
To make a long story a tad shorter, 20 people rezzed, all killed at least 2 times, some 5, all due to a 5th year anniversary gala LOL.
Well Im not mad at SOE but I just wanted to know.... WHY THE HELL WAS HE RIGHT IN THE WAY TO NAGGY'S LAIR????? Next time think over which mobs youre making fabled....
Sorry for your time but i just thought that this might make a funny story.

As of March 16th he is now The Fabled King Tranix. He hits for around 2000, and rampages.
Tranix is Soloable by a 59+ Paladin, with decent gear, and fully buffed (as well as Kei), did it myself the day i turned 59. I'm now 63, & solo him daily hopeing for the crown to give to alts & friends =) great to have on Tallonzek!!!
I had around 2500-2700hp unbuffed at 59 at the time.
& a 31/28 2hs.

I just got done punkin' this guy with my 57 chanter. Grant it, I had PoT9, beast crack, & KEI on, but he was easy.[pre][/pre]
I'm hoping to get the crown (I don't remember anything dropping for me that wasn't a guaranteed drop. I GOTTA get lucky one day, right?)
Likely to have a group of level 56s with pretty average gear, and some lower level supporters. 56 Druid is probable healer, and 56 Pally for either tank, or backup healer on a 53 Warrior. If we can't get a decent chanter, the 56 Wizard will likely be replaced with a 45 Enchanter (a really scared one at that!).
Is this guy a straight out fight? Any guestimate on HPs? Fire resist would be close enugh to complete resistance, but what of MR, CR, PR? If I was bored enough to go back to it, would Ice Comet land okay, or get resisted?

King Tranix is a 6-hour spawn, but every single time I have been down here with my guild, he's been up, and all but once has he dropped the PMT.

Yes 2 people can clear all the FG's including King Tranix, Warlord Skarlon and Magus Rokyl. I did it today with my 59 Ranger main and 57 Cleric alt. I admitt it wasn't easy. It took me roughly 4 hours to do. I took my time and was careful as possible. I would say King Tranix was the hardest part since he Harm Touch for 761 and came with an add. Warlord Skarlon was harder than King Tranix but came alone so he went down without the need of root. Magus was by far the easiest of the 3 named. Another hard part was pulling from the Naggy prep room since 4 mobs in there. I was able to get 2 at a time so it wasn't bad (If all 4 came you wouldn't be reading this post). It felt pretty good to do it, not much in the way of loot but a little bragging rights for those that like to knock on the ranger's.

you can do FGs with less than a full group. My guild was recentlly camping Ragefire for our clerics and one of our druids suggested we clear the FGs because they were spawning. We started with a 60 dru a 57 sk a 51 sk a 56 druid a 56 shaman and myself a 55 war. The 57 sk died when he tried to pull a few FGs solo and due to lack of cleric remained dead until we were able to pull body to cleric waiting logged in Naggy's room. All you need to do is slow, epic DoTs, root any extras away from melees and let the melees kill. With regrowth and blood points and shammy dex you often find yourself gaining life while fighting turgur'ed fgs. (as long as aac is 1k+) my guess would be that this would be the best way to get crowns considering that there'd only be 4 ppl to roll against instead of multiple groups. BTW we found that the best way to do this was levi across the lava in front of the stone spider spawn and pull to the large area at the shores of the lava and then move accordingly thus leaving the initial 3 FGs easier to slo pull as you get them from behind instead of walking into room and aggroing. The only hard part is pulling the king so that the druid doesnt die upon HT = /

Did FGs a few billion times trying to get a crown now. So heres some info on crown.
King Trannix - Always lvl 52. Always harm touches for 761 points of damage. Drops no drop melee only torque 7ac 13wis 13int 4.0weight 80% of the time. Drops crown 13ac 15cha 20svmagic 1.0weight 20% of the time approx.
Killed trannix about 20 times now, got 4 crowns that I conveniently lost random on =/ so thats what I base averages on.
We all know I was an idiot earlier about bp but so was the guy makin fun of other people =P

Would you belive it? Fire Giant raiders looking for a few more poeple to raid and randomly send tell. Wouldnt you know crown drops and i win roll =D I love this thing. It currently resigns on the Head of my druid. =) Its funny to see someone selling high end equipment, 25-30k And tell them you dont have pp only trades and they say no trades. Oh well " /r /em puts crown of tranix back on his head" that always perks their ears. Almost traded this thing for fungi tunic =) Decided not to though

The crown is truly one of the most desired pieces for the enchanter, often compared to the Insidious Halo simply by virtue of it's superior Armour class.
Crown is the rare drop, and considering that King Tranix is a 6 hour spawn, it is very rare and rather prestigious.
Fun hunt in there though, Fire Giants make great pets.

Humm Mithril on the King that would rock but saddly that isnt True... I my self wouldnt mind it, i am tired of the priest cause it gets crapy pulls anyways... (BTW what does a kobolt get the best piece of Mithral BP when the F'G get the leggs and arms???!!!)
