*Dire charm will not work, unfortunately they are a few levels too high, but a simple charm and they can be useful for putting out dps on the mob. After about 10 min, they will go tame on you and then **poof**, they go.
*You should expect the traveling band of renegade gypsies every now and then, you can avoid them or CC them with chanter/bard or melee dps if you have it.
As for Sergeant Hylvar, he hits hard and goes psycho at around 80% with flurries and will eat through a lvl 82 tank with avg AC and 25k hp's like a hot knife through butter. This process seems to repeat itself a few times more throughout the fight. So if you want to debuff his AC and resist, you may want to do it after the first set of flurries.
Mez/Snare = no
Slow = yes, but he mitigates some of it.
I was able to get him to spawn after every other camp spawn, possibly i just got lucky? I dunno, but that's my latest experience.
