Killed him tons of times, have never seen the rod. Drops the essences maybe 1 in 5 times for us.
Has anyone else noticed it does seem to be a static spawn or was it just my luck I've see it near upper east wall?

Amiable to a HFL druid. Maybe a druid-animal thing?
Tough and long fight. He's got a lot of HPs.

Animals in expansions now are amiable to Beastlord, Druids and Rangers, few exceptiong like scaled wolves in FoS and infected or diseased animals. Rest are amialbe.

actually, most animals have always been amiable to rangers and druids :)

I really doubt he drops the "Warped Eternal Luminessence"
Are you sure it wasn't the "Warped Seminal Luminessence?" Eternal is for the tier 5 gear - aka Bloodfields or maybe even Discord drops.

As of 10/29 this mob now see's invis and has quite a bit more HP.
