not that this is too suprising, because after all they are shamans, but i am a 28 bard wood elf and i casted my lvl 27 charm spell on it and it shows its buffs and i saw SOW, so now you know if u ever wandered why that oracle could always catch up too you. and the ones at the orc camp do too
the one time i saw one it was in a fight with someone (they were doing a good job on it too).. i sat down a little back and watched their fight.. its hp was lowering then it saw me... thats when i backed off quickly so the fight could continue.
these are not green they are blue i soloed these with a lvl 5 rogue no problem was buff only with str sow and skin like stone and took em out easily but then here comes about 5 centurions after me then waps me till i'm almost dead then i have to run

ok for any one with a 1h weapon and a shield. These things can be nasty if they keep casting on you, but if you 1h and have a sheild just slash them and when they start to cast bash them with your sheild. If everything goes right they will only get of maybe 2 or 3 casts. (the part that hurts is the lego beating on you while your fighting them which normaly is the case lol)

Posted:Jul 31 2001 at 11:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) now i know that the oracles on orc hill can spawn lower than level eight, i conned one yesterday and it was blue to my level five... it is just that i don't get a chance to see oracles very often, they spawn and someone instantly drops them with a nuke...
i have played kelethin with almost all my characters an dknow it VERY well. Here it the answer to everyones problems. The orcacles outside of crushbone (in the orc hills) are anywhere from 4-6 and the ones inside of crush can go clear up to 12 or so. there you have it. thats why theres the fuss, they are weaker outide of the cave.
Do not forget the three Orcs around the Tower in Butcher Block. These are usually Oracles and Cents. The Cents are tougher than Orc Hill Prob lvl 9-11. The Oracles here con white, yellow, and red to me at 11. If you can get the spawns spread out you can make alot of exp with a small group.
These scrolls are worth there weight in gold, for the simple fact that theres a bug that when you turn them in to felwithe paladins guild your getting faction with the paladins of Truth. and any paladin can tell you that this is the most important faction you will ever get in the game, you can also get the scrolls in southern desert of ro
The illegible scrolls that are looted off the oracles are good for a paladin quest in Felwithe. The one you need to turn them into is in the basement of the paladin guild. General...something. He's in the room with the merchant that sells the higher level paladin spells. I believe you need a certain faction with him (perhaps indifferent or higher), but I could be mistaken. If that is true, slaughter a few orc pawns and baby orcs on orc hill, and all will be well. The faction will raise quickly.
theres also a man in freeport who says he will translate illegible scrolls for a little change, and i think it creates a spell scroll. the man is found in the bar near docks

Did you read the lvls?! It says lvl 8 to 15, which is pretty much correct but they can be lower in GFay. In CB they can get annoying because they always manage to bust up fights that are none of their bussiness, of course, all the woosy orcs gangbang :(
I'm 12th lvl and I conned one yellow outside the tower. He took a beating (and gave one) to kill. No way was he 8th level. At least as tough as a lego.
