As of 7/19/04, they are also dropping hematite.

I fought Guard Devon (or whatever) at the inn. He's a wood elf guard that conned yellow to me once then red to me the next time. (revenge issue)
The bestiary chart says he's 20-21, I was 18 so 20 conned yellow 21 conned red. Now I hunt these ebon drakes who conned white red and yellow to me at 18 and are about as hard to take out as that damned guard. This chart says 13 to 15. I think they have been raised in level recently or this is a typo. so beware lvl. 15's thinking these guys are easy to kill (

Do these things just wonder the zone or is there an area that they concentrate in for a constant pull? I think I'd like to hunt these.

like most drakes these also have that pesky AE fire breath. it can make you very unpopular..

Hit very hard -- into the 40s & are kinda tough to Root, but can be solo'd by a careful low-20s Wizard. Loot is generally decent, & can include at least Pearls & gem shards. There aren't enough of them to make xp-ing on them viable, tho.
