Pretty sure this guy is unkillable now...Took two groups (mid lvl 60s) and couldn't get him under 99% before we had to evac.

He is killable, he just has a lot of HP. If you'll notice, I made a post six days before you posted this, detailing how I had just killed him.
If you're going to try him, you're going to need a lot of DPS, and a healer who can last through a very, very long fight.

So, just lately whenever I have tried to target a guildmaster and hit attack, I will see "auto attack ON" but....nothing happens. I do zero damage, I don't hit the npc, the npc does not get upset or attack.
Given this..is he *still* killable?

I thought people were exaggerating when they were saying how many HP this guy has. They weren't.
I brought a full group along to kill this guy and get the headband for my little twink monk. The group was:
Time pally with unbuffed 8900hp and 2400ac.
Time cleric with 8k mana.
Time/GoD ranger with JoS/Darkglint, 1748 unbuffed attack.
Time/GoD shaman with 7.7k mana.
Qvic necro with 8.3k mana and ancient spells.
Suckbard with Trident from RS and Legion Issue Kukri offa primals.
Shaman used Panther on EVERYONE except the necro. Shaman even cast panther on the friggin swarm pets. On the cleric hammer pet even. Everything down to the hammer pet and swarm pets were hasted.
The necro Lifeburned.. and even with every DoT stacked on that would stick from the shaman *and* the necro, and all the melee.. lifeburn dropped him.. 1%. An 8k lifeburn.
This fight took us in excess of 35 minutes. Shaman had to recast haste (27 minute duration). Swarm pets.. repopped before this fight was over.
He doesn't melee that hard. Holy Elixir was able to keep the pally up just fine. But holy god the HP >.<
Then the damn mob didn't even have the decency to drop the purple headband =/ Just the black one.

PoG fighting a thiftling focuser. I fought this guy today for my twink monk. Was me my 2box druid and another rogue. Total time of battle was about 84 minutes. He has damn near 2 million hitpoints or over.He did not drop the Purple Headband he decided to drop a black one so im gonna go beat on him later only im gonna bring 8 rogues this time instead of 2 beacuse that fight was a snoozefest. For General info He Quads 300 fast and I couldnt land willsapper on him after I Tash'd him with a l33t tash stick druid dots were landing after tash. I dont know the droprate on the purple headband but if it anything like the robe off Zephyl your better off just doing the quest. I highly doubt this guy was intended to be killed. I will post back here later if I get a purple headband off him and how many times it took

Tried this guy with my 65Necro with 80+ AAs.Was only able to get 2Dots off and went through 2 pets and still only took 1% life from him.So theres no way in a hell u took him down to 1% life.If your gonna kill this guy get Nice DPS melee and Cleric rdy as he will Smack the hell outta u.

just tried to kill him me and 65 monk for my 41 monk...got him down 1% and decided this wasn't happening...trying with a few 65 rogues and a 65 wiz next..
