I just camped in the one hallway with my merc and began to clear the first two rooms. Spawned on about the third cycle. Pulled and luckily split with only one add. Was a close fight, had to use Visage of Death to keep myself awake. But, he spawned a total of 4 guys with him. No bolt...the camp continues. Steady camp, always something up.

Spawns at least four adds; has a lot of hitpoints.
Spawns in the power station a little ways south of the entrance to Meldrath's mansion (four large circular rooms on the map). Apparently the "seated" gnomes are placeholders (this much is second-hand information).

Went to this camp for the first time to try for the aug for sk friend. 85 war,sham bot,sk,mage all tier 5 sod grp geared with 2 healer mercs. Didnt fully read up on this mob. Was pulling 4-5 mobs at a time clearing this camp. Pulled name with 2 adds. Took name to 9% before losing control and wiped to the 8 or so adds that were on us. Next time we pull it single.

Is overpowered and way too rare, plus the fact that his aug isnt common.
60 hours camping so far, 4 nameds.
Pretty easy with SK pulling, warrior tanking and a wizzie burning plus 3 merc clerics.
Easiest tactic is to take him to 75%, kill both adds and then burn the named down. Deal with the 2 adds at the end.
Looking from the south, I have seen him spawn left and right, middle and both end seats. Seems any seated is surely a ph. I have pulled the 4 seats but not seen him there but not very often and he is rare.

he spawned for me today just now at pos 501.66, -799.18, 157.97 which is an outside stool when earlier posts said he spawns on middle stool. leads me to believe any of the sitting gnomes there are his ph.
and for the record the chump dropped a necrotic steam core not my aug =(

Been farming this mob for the AC aug.
two confirmed spwan points
one bieng 390.69, -801.58, 158.36
and the other 492.60, -808.17, 156.98
Spwan timer: 20 min or so, but must warn you hes kinda rare.
PH: There are four big rooms little souht of MMM zl as someone said. Go the the SE room SE corner you gonna find seated gnomes on stools. PH is middle of the 3 seated gnomes, same as shwon on his picture. he spwaned for me 3 times in the same spot.
Camp: long hallway heading east out of the room. 445.63, -1041.42, 121.44

He can spawn anywhere were there are gnomes on seats - always seemed to spawn in the middle seats not on the end ones (at least in my exp):

I was able to take him down: 85war/85dru/85bard/85rogue, plus 2 tier5 cleric mercs.
I boxed war and dru, friend boxed rogue and bard, and it wasnt easy.
Its funny, I can 2 box named in obf, but this guy is way too hard for me to handle just 2 boxing.
He spawned 2 adds at 75 health, and 2 at 50. We killed the adds before finishing him off. ( my war has full sod t5, about 4.7kac buffed, and 34khp buffed, with 2k aa. my dru has 1700 aa and full sod t4, and this mob is still more challenging that named in korafax, imho. talk about content not tuned properly, ha! )
Took quite a while to spawn him too. pulling in there is super hard, mobs warp around and path back like crazy. much of steam factory is just too hard for the rewards.
He dropped a core, rotted. Would still like his aug though, but have given up on it considering its difficulty. I think dark soul crystal will be easier to get overall ( considering the ease of getting peeps to help you on it; who wants to go back to steam factory for an ac only aug for just one person )
I can confirm that the seated gnomes are his ph for me. He respawned later after we killed him, similair spot: the north west row of seats in that room. He is still up as of this post; been up for 3 days straight cause no one wants to mess with him. LOL.

Spawned this mob twice. He spawns in the stop sign room with 2 doors leading out to the 2 different corridors. He spawned in 2 different locations on seats at workstations. As long as you clear all the stool mobs he will spawn.
The first fight there were total of 5 adds:
The adds spawn at exactly 75 and 50 percent of SPARKBOLTS'S health.
The mezzer should be starting to mez at 77 and 52 percent to minimize damage by these adds. 3 adds appeared at 75 and 2 adds appeared at 50.
Adds hit for over 2k and have enough hit points not to mess with them during fight. Adds agro whatever sparkbolt is agroed on and do not go for healers.
Make up was War/Pal/Clr/Shm/Mnk/Wiz and ENC box.
War was 4k buffed, and mob was hitting for close to 4k on defensive as well as the 5k stun proc.
Mob hits quite hard, Shm had heal over time on war the entire fight and both cleric and shaman were spamming quick heals as well to keep up.
Once the adds were figured out and removed from the equation the fight was doable with some definite healing.
Dropped Necrotic core the first fight, charged alloy bolt the second.
On the second kill only 3 adds spawned, 1 at 75% and 2 at 50%. this was after the recent nerf to geartop so unsure if they also nerfed the adds on this mob or if it is random how many adds will spawn. They still spawned at 75 and 50 as previous.
We set up camp in the long flat corridor off his spawn room.
This mob is not for the feint of heart.

this mob is so powerful its borders on re+arded. maybe im
just soft but this expansion is starting to break my morale.
its so hard to get 10 people to help you do anything let alone
kill an aug mob. anyway just a rant. i wouldnt bother with him if
i were you, till you at least beat solteris.

we brought a raid of 11 tss geared people. we killed him but the adds owned
us. the adds corpsecamped him and reaggroing them seemed to extended their
life time . they finally despawned down to 4 we took them on. he dropped
necrotic steamcore......no aug =(
