Yes he's groupable by a full group. If your tank can handle the trash then you can handle the squire.

While I realize what zone he is in, can anyone post some info on what kinda numbers it takes to kill this mob. Is this groupable by a small for 6-12?

I am an 80 rog on AB and I have had my eye on the Shank for quite some time. Some friends and I decided to camp this badboy starting one day last week. I would say that we have easily spent 30 hours at this camp and have gotten 2 Elders and 2 squires, and neither of the squires has dropped the dagger. I am not sure why, but have easily seen 10 earth squires to every 1 air. I am not sure if this is intentional or if we just have really bad luck, but it sucks. =/
Edit: Was in air for almost 7 hours today and saw 1 squire....he dropped 2 shanks. So, after 40+ hours of camping, there is now a happy rog and happy bard on AB. Thanks Bongo =)

Tectoran's Stonescale Aegis
Like Smooth Dwerium Shield with a slot 3, slightly better hp/mana... Actually LESS AC (87) vs 95 on the Dwerium shield. Either the Dwerium will eventaully get nerfed to 85 or Tectoran will get bumped to 97 (someday).

The Condensed Plate Cloak is the lesser version...your comparing a sheild to a cloak...apples to oranges. On a side note had both cloaks drop on same kill tonight, I won the lesser...=\

Dropped Tome of Rigor Mortis Rk.II for us today as well.
Been nerfed with wednsday's patch- now hits for over 7k on me, no defensive.
Squire Zirkanamef also drops Tectonic Shroud of Crystallos. With the click mana-regen and type 3 aug slot this is the best version of this cloak.
Squire Zirkanamef also drops Tectoran's Cloak of Tremors. With the spell damage rune and type 3 aug slot this is the best version of this cloak.

Looks like the loots between the Earth and Air Squires are mixed up.
