It is found in the upper levels of The Mechamatic Guardian solo tasks instance. It is found in the large steam room at the end of the hallway opposite where Mechano Sendaii Dronequeen spawns. Following the path beyond the Dronequeen into the large room, to your right is the only other doorway in the room. This is the hallway leading to the Gearlord. There is another random static trash mob beside Memorantis, so plan accordingly.

The named mobs also have a chance of dropping Rank II spells. Halcyon Zephyr is the one i found on this mob

I understand that this mob spawns in the solo instances, but is he always up? Do mobs respawn (making a camp possible)? Or do you just have to zone in and hope that he is up, and if not, restart the mission?

Thanks.

There is a respawn, including named or their phs (about 20 mins) so you can pick a named and camp it if you wish.

At the beginning of the solo task there are no nameds up. They only spawn after killing so many mobs in the zone. Which ones pop up seem to be random as you can kill mobs that are not specific ph's and still get the other nameds to spawn. I don't know if killing in a certain area triggers certain mobs.

It's like the old GoD sewers. When a certain amount of mobs die the placeholders or named pop. Not even the placeholders are up until then. After that, it works like a normal placeholder.

I have found thru trial and error that "MOST" named I have come across in this expansion do in fact Summon and are immune to run speed changes. To include immune to Mez. I have found only 1 named so far ( in Loping plains ) that can be mezed and snared and didn't summon, but he doesn't drop anything. With that being said you can "assume" that this named will resist snare and WILL summon you....again this is all assumptions at this point from a Wizzy. Feel free to try him and see for yourself though. My 2cp only.

seems silly to ask, but being that alot of SoF mobs don't summon..

Does this named summon? is his run speed able to be changed? (ie, snare, root)
