Slagspring's Hydraulic Maul

I've killed up on the final platform a bunch of times and never seen this mob. We've tried pulling from all the different places and yet nothing. latest was the mino and the cannons right outside the door to the platform. Is this the spot or can he spawn from anywhere on the platform?

can spawn from any mob on top floor no specific ph
This guy doesn't hit for 10k...not even close.
Our tank was a level 80 monk with 3.4k AC, 92 avoidance, 16% shielding, improved dodge III, improved block III, 8% dodge mod, and max defensives.
Max hit was 2507
Average hit was 1319
put out 1044 DPS.
No adds.
No special effects.
No flurry.
No rampage.
No AE ramp.
Enraged at the end of the fight.
All in all, a very simple and straightforward mob.
Found him as a static mob on the roof.

Yes and he quads...so you do the math 4x2507 = 10k+

hit 10k make kinda confuse if counting like this. (raid mob hit 40k)

If you go all the way up ramp, go in little alcove, up ladder, up elevator and out on patio.
Hits for 1500 but that's with over 4k AC.
He's a wimp but does enrage.

searched the whole zone and can not find a ladder

You have to go up as far as you can up the ramps. You'll be in the area where the gnomes are all sitting at desks abound a platform with 1 guy in middle of it. Straight ahead of the ramp you came up is a door. open it and there will be 2 mobs in there. The ladder you need to go up is in that small room also. On your right side.

cleared the whole top area a couple of times tonight with some friends. open the door should be 2 minos there with possiably 1 other trash mob. clear those. 2 big catapults on other side of door, the catapult to the left of that pair found named between trash mob at that catapult and door. hope this helps clear any confusion.
