i killed all the snakes by the zone in 2x then it poped killed me once ,went in the low mana ,got a rez medded to full then took it out ,only dropped the mace ,i want the bow so i will camp the area till i find it

Solo'd as a lv80 Cleric 15.6k HP, 2.8k AC. Mob hit for a max of 1088 and as generally healable with Promised Restoration - some fast heals needed based on good dps rounds. Took 60m, I didn't nuke or melee, just sent the pet in and beat him with DS. Mob enraged but did not run.
It was located near Falrazim's cave.
Dropped Flail.

just soloed him + add. 80 bst with bazaar gear / 500 aas.
pet took named, i took add. loaded the big pet heal,and when it finally started healing after 18sec it was close.. the add i more or less just ignored and popped my def disc. sure, i was at 50% hp when named was dead,but i also focused only on the named and the survival of my pet.
next time i better remember to use the block thingy on pet :)

Solod as a non Uber 80 Cleric... 13.5K HP, 2.5K AC with a few Def AAs. (700 total on toon)
Max hit was 1062, with a handful of 900s, decent amount of 500s and a few 250s.
Was surprised how tough he was but managed to get him down :)

If you don't have anything nice to say, at least have the decency to be vague.
Duoed him with a 76 mage with 240 AA and 9500 mana and a level 62 cleric bot with 104 AA crappy gear and 6500 mana. Used Host of elements and frenzied burnout. Cleric didn't go below 75% mana and mage didn't go below 85% mana. Dropped the bow :(. Was hoping for the Flail for my cleric when he gets to 65.

Can anyone verify the loc on this mob? The map says middle of zone on a hill, post here says by steamfont iz. Which is right?
yea alot of mobs are snareable in sof. Where did you get the info mobs arent?

snakes, wolves, crows, scarecrows, beetles and cats aren't snareable...but they don't run either. The nameds in the zone aren't snareable but then that's cause they enrage at 10%. Only the clockworks and minos try and run...tho the named clockworks enrage so they don't try to run. The rest I dont' know tho...

Stack 5 or 6 necro dots and you can bet your butt it summons. Hits 1400ish as well.
Found PH snakes at spot marked on map. Not sure where but it is eqtoolbox map, I think. Killed all snakes and it was 2nd mob to respawn. 77 necro max def AA was hit 1400 often. Took more damage then MPG named.

No mobs in this zone or any sof zone are rootable or snarable unless they are a Quest mob so if u root and snare chances are he drops nothing.

I boxed her fairly easily with a 73 Mage ( 780 AA's ) and a 73 Cleric ( 150 AA's ). Didn't notice what she hit for but the fight was never in doubt and both Mage and Cleric never went below 50% mana. Took probably two minutes or less. I have fought her three times, twice with group and once boxing with Cleric and have never seen her summon. Dropped Mace twice and Bow once.

Hey does anyone know what this dude hits for and where he spawns in Dragonscale? How likely would it be for a ranger with 2200ac 13000hp and 12k hp 10k mana shaman to take this guy out duo?
Easy solo so would be cake for a 13k ranga and shammy duo... 80 mag 1k+ AA's dead in 45 sec pet 80%hp me 100%hp 60-70% mana... most camps i have spawned him at have an add or 2 but any snake seems to be PH for him... GL

He spawned for me at 3613, -1573. My war has 10k hp and 1900 ac. I tanked him just fine with a 76 clr. We had a 77 wiz for dps.
Cleric hardly used any mana. I would venture to say that easily duo'able.
EDIT: To answer your question about how hard he hits for, it has been awhile, but I remember thinking that he was just slightly easier than an MPG mob. However, it has been a about a week and I don't have the logs from the fight.
