The Rot
Monster
Located in one of the 3 cave in SE of the zone (decay valley). The good cave (Power of decay I) is the southeaster cave. The mushroom is in the room the most in west on the cave. There is 2 mushroom in this room, both are PH. Not sure yet, may be all mushrooms are PH too.
Edit your "hillsofshade_2.txt" map file and add :
- "P 1224.6312, 746.1929, -675.6088, 240, 0, 0, 2, The_Rot"
- "P 1276.7318, 736.8128, -673.7434, 240, 0, 0, 2, The_Rot"
Max hit ~2210. Has ~150k hps.
Enrage : no Flee on low HP : No Snarable : No (immune to change in its run speed)

i three boxed this mob wiht 84th warrior 3.8ac 600aa 28k hps self buffed(all defense), druid (2.9ac with 20k mana,1500aa and 20k hps) ,chanter with (2.3ac 500aa, 20kmana and hps), three mercs (one merc healer and two warrior mercs) was cake. most likely if well geared to box or solo but would take longer but is do-able,

Does this summon ,how many hp, spells casts, people does it take to kill?

Found him in the western room of the south cave.
Logged 179k damage done to him, but he heals himself some ( Fungal Regrowth ) So probably more like 150k HP.
Also casts a spell named Sporalize, which seemed to be a snare and not a pet summon like Sporalize indicates.
Hits 369 - 2057 with max shielding ( probably had cleric aura and vie at start ).
He does summon.

Dropped the stud once for me as well. Definitely his rare. This mob is very generous what will all 4 chest armor plus a damn fine earring. Plus he drops at least one of these items EVERY time.
Note that he can spawn in either static spot in that little NE room. But most of the time he pops around the corner.

Have cleared these tunnels multiple times and have yet to see him. Does he have only ONE PHer or (like a lot of nameds in this zone) spawn in multiple spots?

He spawned for us in the Decay 1 tunnels, in the side alcove of the north tunnel.
