Soloed him tonight, 72 Wizard (237 AAs) full elegant gear (11.8k health, 11.6k mana) and J1 Cleric Merc.
Pull to safe spot with Atols spectral Shackles to get aggro but not get summoned.
Mana Blaze - 36,000 damage but little aggro. Down to about 20% mana.
He beats on me a little, cleric merc heals me and gets aggro (what I want)
I cast Patient Harvest Rank II and Druzzil Harvest (only have rank I) to get about 55-60% mana back.
Ether flame if merc has aggro, Cloudburst Strike rank II and Leap of Sparks rank II combo/repeat if I have aggro.
Dropped Visage of Dancing Flame.

Molo'd with 73 Monk 103AA + Cleric Merc. Was pretty tough fight. He conned dark blue to me, so he's not always 73, if ever. Merc started close to FM and ended up with about 2 bubbles left. Max hit on me I saw was 1160, but hit me for 1044 quite a bit at start of fight for some reason. Average hit was probably 600-700 area. Dropped me to 20% a couple of times with merc on Balanced. Popped defensive disc and all DPS discs I could just to burn him down as quick as I could. Disciple's Aura ate his Enrage so I didn't have to deal with it, but that probably would have killed me. Monk is 12k hp 2.2k AC with Merc buffs, and CA/CS is 4/4. Dropped the flametouched mask.

He summons and is immune to changes in run speed. No kiting but but took him with 79 CLR and 73 MAG using water pet.

Finally got SoF and went into Dragonscale Hills last night for the first time. We saw Strawshanks and killed him. He can't be level 73: He conned dark blue to my 72 monk. At most, he's 71. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
