How the quests work:

Visit 10 zones.
Get a shard and a silverwing item from each of the 9 of the zones. The Shard from one zone will combine in the silverwing box with the silverwing item from another zone to make a better version of the silverwing item.
You get one of two class related items.

The new silverwing item is usable in its own right but the goal is to get 10 items and combine
them all in the silverwing box for the charm reward above.

One of the zones drops a single item.

The shards are random drops from any mob. You don't have to go deep into a zone. They do seem to drop more from certain mobs but mostly it's random.

It might take 15 minutes to get the zone drops or 3 days.

Both the HoH silverwing drops drop and you must loot and use the one for your class.
The wrong drop is just trash.

Combine the HoH drop with the 9 other silverwing items you have combined earlier.

he's lvl 80 now, cons even to 80 ranger

If you combine all 9 Silverwing qest reward items plus the Glowing Hoop of the Silverwing (casters) or Gleaming Hoop of the Silverwing (fighters) from Halls of Honor in the Silverwing Lockbox you get:

I did the quest for a caster. I used the Glowing Hoop of the Silverwing as part of the combine. I don't know if the Gleaming Hoop of the Silverwing would have worked instead but I suspect not

His new loc is in POK at -179, 1288, -94. Just outside of the Guild lobby.

After patch he is now located in pok exact loc not known to me yet

I just wanted to mention that most of these drops have great stats for their levels....some are better then a level 50 toon can buy or get on their own. This is a great way to get some decent gear. Also the end result of combining finished items togeher is a great charm!! As a 67 sk it was worth the farming!

anyone know if it is possible to get a second silverwing lockbox from aiden silverwing?

had to destroy mine to open up a primary inventory slot for another item.

Has anyone completed the last step?

When I clicked the ring and got the quest I just had to hail him for XP. So far, so well. But he also hands you one of his lockboxes for combines and tells you "to keep all the heirlooms". I suppose if you have all of your set, that you could do a final combine with them now?

Found the silverwing shoulderpads in DSP. Took em to Aiden Silverwing in crescent reach. He told me that his sister was trying to create a intelligence potion from the sentient mushrooms of DSP. I went to DSP and collected the 8 different mushrooms, the 8 that are listed as drops for them. Tried to combine in the lockbox he gave me, wouldnt work. Any ideas?
