I bought all the available books / scrools the other night and I have the diety symbols coming up in a common forge. Nothing else however in the common forge or loom. Are the armor items only made in the home town forges / looms? I am not sure I have ever seen a cultural loom. Any ideas?

I know this post is older but I thought I'd comment anyway in case someone else has your question. Yes, to make the final piece of gear which you can only do for your race, you must use a racial container to do the combine in. For example, Halflings must use the Vale Forge located near the inn that is behind the bank. Only these containers may be used for the final combine.
There seem to be sewing kits you can make that are for each race. Perhaps they might work, I've never gotten into tradskills so I'm not sure.

The new DoN armor combines are done in a cultural forge or sewing kit.
