i do believe he is ph for high shaman grisok. grisok was not on track. soon as i killes ren'rex and tracked again he was up. both mobs were between hermit and aviok village.

I am almost certain that Ren Rex is ph for Grisok. Grisok usually spawns on eastern side of zone near Hermit. Hope that helps )

Nope, just saw them both up on track at the same time.

what does ren rex drop...i came across him and killed him but no loot...only about 4gp

I killed Shaman Lenrel twice near NK zone tonight and both times Phido poped west of paw. So i assume ren'rex is the PH for Grisok. Dunno where Ren'rex pops though. Hope that helps anyone out.

I bought Rhen head from someone that said they got it off Phido, wierd.... wierd anyways, I saw lenlen on track, killed him, theyn I saw Brother dash on track, killed him, then saw Phido on track, near Split paw, all consecutive perhaps a connection? dunno but i saw none for hours, then all three in minutes you do the math
He followed me today, as I was running to NK. Tried to drowsy me, and I just kept running, and stopped at the bridge to see what was chasing me. Rex was green to me at 27, but he was rather tough. hit me with a disease DOT and several DD nukes, 76 I think was the highest he did to me. Now, I'm no tank (Shaman) and he had my HP down to 2 bubbles by the time he ran. Droppes nothing but 7 silver & change

No idea if I have accurate information or if this will even help anyone... I was in SK trying to help a Shaman track down some bull elephants and this guy pops up on tracking. He was yellow at 23, so I was cautious, but with a 21 rogue and 30 shaman, I wasn't really worried. He went down without too much of a fight. He dropped Head of Shen. Dunno if this is the skull you're looking for. I'm almost posative this is the guy we killed, and if it was, it's screwy becuse he was NOT 15-17. Oh well, if anyone on Saryrn server wants a Head of Shen, I'll be around SK!

The comments for Shaman Lenrel say he drops Brother Dareb's Skull for the monk red headband quest meaning a monk doesn't have to battle High Shaman Grisok. Does Shaman Ren'Rex drop Brother Shen's skull, or do you have to wait until High Shaman Phido pops for that?
I was just out there last night looking for Brother Dareb's skull. I'd borrowed a friend's tracking skills and spent a couple hours in the area just to the east of the Aviak city where Splitpaw gnolls run around, and killed Shaman Lenrel three times but never got anything special off of him. I really think you have to find Grisok for that. I then found a reference to Ren'Rex as placeholder for Phido, so I headed to the northwest corner and sure enough found him and killed him twice, with about a half hour between spawns, but had to go before I could get Phido to spawn. I think Shaman Lenrel and Shaman Ren'Rex are placeholders for the two High Shamen that actually drop the heads. Look for them, and keep killing them, and eventually you should get the ones you want.

I have seen Shaman Ren'Rex running around outside of Splitpaw, in South Karana.

Sometimes Ren'Rex will drop a Runed Totem Staff, an okay 2h blunt magic weapon.

Killed him twice in about half an hour today, he had RTS both times.

Killed him 6 times since he killed me on a corpse run. got the RTS once and I think i gave it to pet.
