you can kill both at 22. i tried letting the pet tank her after debuffing and stacking DoTs, but the pet died very quickly because she can double hit for around 50 plus kick and bash. i don't know what this business is about 'giving up melee too early' from the anonymous poster. i can't see myself doing enough damage or having high enough defense or AC to stay alive long against her. by far the most effective tactic has been just darkness kiting them. it's best when you can keep your hate and your pet's hate pretty close, so that he will stop and bash on your pet a little bit while you stack dots on him, then run after you again when you are done. even after DoTs started doing less damage when the mob isn't running away or standing still (and i think it's been a while), it still allows you to do solo things many levels above you.
I don't understand how some of these posters can possibly be having problems with this one, the only time she killed me was when a pirate backstabed me right after i pulled her. At 22 necro I'm killing her and her boyfriend on the coast, him first since she is easier to pull away from any possible add's when he is allready dead. I can do both of them without having to regen more than 1 minute in between, then get full and do em both again, with the recycle time sooo fast i am never sitting around waiting for repop, my only complaint is crappy loot. I think the biggest problem most necro's have is giving up thier melee too early, you shouldn't stop melee until you HAVE to, every extra level you can get away with melee in is an extra few points of defense when your bigger, I intend to try to keep melee skills all the way to 30, maybe even a bit beyond if i can manage it. I don't use the skin line i do use my best shielding though, and occasionally spirit armor if im going against a heavy hitter like altimia(dock girl), but these dwarfs are wussy ratraz is tuffer!
SO, i wouldnt recommend darkdaggers tactic. i tried several different tactics (died 3 times while calculating her powers), so i decided this one to be the most efficient: if you are at least lvl 24 and got your 24 pet you can solo her without much trouble: first buff your pet and let it guard just from the place at the sea from where you can see hugan. then go up the hill till you can see her. target her and get a few steps back, so that you are halfway between your pet and elona. then cast shock of poison and begin to run towards pet, because she'll start chasing you. when you are near your pet let it attack and be sure to put taunt on, but keep runnin till you are out of her aggro radius. let it be a good mile, so she wont start attacking you instead of your pet while nuking. BEFORE YOU THROW THE SECOND NUKE cast engulfing darkness needs to . i never had it resisted twic in one battle. once she is snared start nuking her. if she ever starts running towards you run a bit back (if shes snared, otherwise you are dead, except you have sow, but its a small island with many dwarves on it).i promise u she won't attack you before you snared her. if shes snared and you run a short way back your pet will taunt her again, and you can continue nuking. about 3 nukes then and she's dead. so have a funny time killing her! VERY GOOD XP AND LOOT FOR ME. she's supposed to drop 3pp almost everytime, and your xp increases like hell. once you reach lvl 26 you should also have no problems with hugan. have a nice time 8).
The edge at which the male dwarf stands is near the water. If you rest near the water yet not to close to the dwarf none of the other mobs will attack or see you there. Good place to mem, and rest for you melee classes. Just my advice i do hope you find it helpful as i.
Great strategy for killing pretty much all the dorfs on the sister island. Similar to that of druid kiting, and Jboots are very helpful if you can get them. Pull with Engulfing Darkness, and pull back a ways to get some distance between you and her. Sick pet, stack Heat Blood and Heart Flutter, and be sure your pet is on /pet no taunt. After the 3rd DoT she will chase you like hell, just run around and the DoTs and pet will eat her alive. When Darkness wears off just feign death and she will turn to the pet, than get up and siphon to finish her.

The pervious poster obviousally does not know of what he speeks. I hunt the Female Dwarfs in Butcher Block all the time, you only become KoS to the select Femlae Dwarfs. I freely sell to the merchants in the same huts which I pull the dwarfs to kill from. I can even walk in any part of kaladim and not be touched. The only faction is with the few dearfs. (P.S. Merchants NEVER EVER KoS, only way to have a merchant attack you is to attack him first)
it is true that there are merchants that belong to no faction, or at least to one that is obscure and hard to get on the bad side of, but not ALL merchants are that way.
May be ab easy kill, but killing any of these dwarves will make you KOS with the Citizens of Kaladim faction. This includes all dwarf merchants in Butcherblock and Kaladim itself as well as the dwarven females that spawn at the docks in butcher block. As of yet I have found NO way of reversing this faction damage.
