Rhondda the Flagger says 'Hello. Would you like one of my fine banner material kits? Or are you looking for more [information] on guild banners.'

You say, 'I need some information'

Rhondda the Flagger says 'Would you like to know [what] guild banners are, how to [use] guild banners, [when] you can use guild banners, or how to [make] guild banners?'

You say, 'What are they?'

Rhondda the Flagger says 'A Guild banner is a standard that can be used to rally your guild. With a guild banner in place you can bring your guild to its target more quickly as guild members will be able to transport to the guild banner. Additionally while you are near a guild banner, members of your guild will gain the benefit of an effect specific to the banner you have chosen. This effect will help your guild in its endeavors in the field.'

You say, 'How do I use them?'

Rhondda the Flagger says 'To use a guild banner, refer to the banner page of your guild log book and be sure that you have the kits necessary for the banner you wish to place. Then simply select the banner you wish to place and plant it, following the extremely simple instructions within the kits to make your banner and stick it in the ground. It will stick in most any surface, though there may be magic within an area that will disallow the planting of the banner.'

You say, 'When can I use them?'

You say, 'How do I make them?'

Rhondda the Flagger says 'You will make your guild banners out in the field. In your guild roster book, look at the page entitled "banner." On that page you will find a list of the banners that you can make. Look closely at the list and you will see a summary of the effect and what items you will need to buy from my sister and I in order to make a banner. When you plant the banner you will make it right there as the process is very simple and takes no particular skill.'

Guilds can create a unique Guild Banner from a large selection of symbols and colors. The banner becomes the mark of the guild and when enough guild members are in the same zone (three groups), the guild leader or officers can plant the banner in the ground. While a Guild Banner is planted, guild members can use the Guild Hall portal to teleport directly to the banner ("Splinter from a Guild Standard" for ~184pp). This allows players to easily catch up with guildmates. The guild banner can also be upgraded to provide different effects like regeneration. Upgraded Guild Banners are expendable, but provide an effect to everyone in the guild who is in range of the banner while it is planted. Guilds can have only one standard up at a time. You can access Guild Banner information through a tab in the guild window and banners are sold in the Plane of Knowledge.
