You say, 'Hail, Emissary Gavik'

Emissary Gavik says 'Hail and well met. I don't suppose you noticed anything [strange] out on the sands did you?'

You say, 'strange?'

Emissary Gavik says 'I suppose it was a bit of wishful thinking on my part. I know what to look for and still only rarely catch a glimpse of them. You've likely heard of the efforts of my temple to discover what is occurring with our connection to Solusek. When I came here I began noticing numerous [things] out of place in the desert.'

You say, 'things?'

Emissary Gavik says 'You may have noticed a general rise in the population of undead around here. Its not just that there are more of them, there seems to be a breed of them that has risen since these troubles began. I've had little luck tracking down the cause of the trouble, but have been recording my observations for later study. On the more positive side there was one interesting [report] I received from the emissary to the Wayfarer's Brotherhood in the Butcherblock Mountains. It sounds like he may be having more luck.'

You say, 'report?'

Emissary Gavik says 'He said something about members of the Brotherhood returning with reports from some catacomb or other. I would suggest speaking with him if you wanted specifics.'
