Good Spot in North Ro

On the Coirnav progression server I found a great spot for coyotes in North Ro. It's at 8330, -1385, under some trees next to the desert edge and north of innkeep Tozie. Coyotes just keep spawning and walking by. When using auto attack as a druid, I never ran out of them to kill. Got the Coyote skull after about 9 or 10 kills.
Loc?

I've been trying to find coyotes in North Ro but they seem to be more elusive than I expected... I've been hunting just south and east of the adventurer's camp, where the grassy hills meet the desert proper and all the armadillos wander around. Is this the wrong place to find coyotes?
Here little coyote

I've been killing black wolves in EC now for about 4 days....(8hrs of playing time probably) and no sign of coyote skull. Haven't seen a coyote or wolf in Nro or Sro..but heading back now to have a better look. Very frusterating!! Grrrr....and I'm not even an ogre...lol

Just got one in Sro....it was a coyote...and it spawned between the wizard spire and the druid rings...finally able to get my newbie bard breastplate. whew...it was about 4 minutes after I posted this msg!! lol

GFay coyotes

I have yet to see 'a coyote' in GFay, but i have run into a number of 'a young coyote' there. The Northwestern part of GFay is where they will show up most often. You'll know the area there when you see two orcs (an orc arsonist and Gribgok or some name). I also need the coyote skull for my rogue armor quest. I've killed quite a few and only get coyote pelts, ruined coyote pelts and chunks of meat. It's quite frustrating and i plan on moving into Steamfont, since I hear they are more abundant there.

I'm actually working on the Wood Elf Druid newbie quest, and have been trying to find a Coyote Skull. I've had no luck getting it from a Black Wolf... but supposedly there are Coyotes in GFay. Here's the fun part... I've never seen one. Is there a certain area where they hang out, or what? I spent at least two hours scouring the zone looking for one, but no luck. Thanks for your help.

I've seen ones called "a young coyote". They seem to hang around the big area near the LFay zone and the southwest corner.

Coyotes in NRo conn green to my lvl 6 and drop "A Coyote pelt." Last night, in Greater Faydark, I engaged a Coyote, which to my surprise, conned red to my lvl 6. Fortunately, a generous Druid had buffed me and I survived the encounter.

Coyote in GFay have been dropping "Ruined" pelts which is another story.

Coyotes also drop "a coyote pelt" which is used for the Freeport paladin newbie armor quest (Truthbringers Greaves).

Funny story, as a young paladin (lv 6-7) I made my first foray into North Ro to obtain that item. First coyote I killed dropped it, sweet. I loot it, and the instant I put it in my inventory, BAM, Dorn hits you for 28, Dorn bashes you for 25, pain and suffering smite you, you die. Never even got a look at him. Even as a lev 16 paladin now, I haven't set foot in North Ro since...

Oh, actually got so caught up in my story that I forgot to mention: although I could have been hallucinating due to the orc train on my heels, I swear I saw a coyote in Greater Faydark last night. A coyote skull is required for the Kelethin druid newbie armor quest, so they might indeed have a larger habitat than listed.

These are about as easy to kill as you can find in all of Norrath. At lvl 1 it takes only a couple of hits.

I'm camping the coyotes in north Ro to bring the skulls back to Kelethin and give to newbie Druidds for Armor creation. You wouldn't know the LOC coordinates of their spawn, would you?

I have found that the coyote do mostly be around the adventures in N Desert Ro. Also they spawn more if u kill others like skellys, cats, and so forth. I hope this helps.

There is this one spot in South Ro, east of the first Orc camp you hit coming out of Innothule, where three coyotes spawn at the same time. It is at the east end of that flat part of land that the first Orc camp sits on. Too bad it's not a triple jackal spawn, but it seems a good camping spot for very low lvls.
