Took him down first try as a 66 necro with a healer merc. Knew he summoned and tried to kite him anyway, but he summons a lot. Tried to pet tank him but the pet died real fast. So I just finished the fight tanking him myself with an occasional feign death if the merc wasn't quite keeping my health up enough. Just loaded him up with DoTs and tapped as fast as I could until it was over. Mana was not an issue but health was precarious at times.

he summons at 100% health, Tarbelly is social, and after Tar jumped in so did the crown snake so another words, group was FUBARED.

Soloed as a lvl 80 druid. Gelid Frost + Hand of Ro then dot and tank. Max hit on me was 849, though mostly I was getting hit for 200s. Seems snareable and didn't summon. Yay boots for my friend's SK alt.
Ok fine here is one thing you are leaving out.Are you a Gimp Bazaar geared Druid with 10 aa?Or are you Anguish+geared with over 1700 aa?You are going to lead another 80 Druid thats has crap to death!

At a firepit among the goblins. He is a gnoll model. A bit larger than the other gnolls. He casts something I kept resisting. I boxed him with mage/chanter/druid/ and cleric. I hit pet attack, slowed him and he died in seconds. Dropped the boots for me. Easy kill.
