finally got scale guardian oram to pop its indeed the right mob on the ledge overlooking the scale and he looks the other direction then the other 2 ph is a scalewatcher the other 2 are veterans
good luck
on my way to the east wing to beat the 2 far east mobs
I used to get the named about 40% of the time, clearing just one Pher. There IS only ONE PHer for this named, btw, so if you're clearing lots of trash the rest is just for XP.
Yes, was clearing just the PH and whatever adds we may have gotten (they auto-pop after death). Finally did get it to spawn, 2 in a row at that. This was still the worse mob out of all of them for me.
The placeholders are a harder fight. Like a lot of caster mobs, the named's dps drops while he stops to cast. His ae rampage is relatively minor. I don't bother to fight him at a distance since the camp has a lot of wanderers and it's safer to keep a tight circle. I have to have my druid assist my cleric in keeping the warrior healed for the PHer fights. I don't have to do this for the named.
ok, they aren't called guardians, the 3 drakkins on the platform overlooking the lava pit and the scale are Scarlet Legion Scalewatchers. the middle and left one are looking out over the edge, the right one is looking south instead. this is the PH, and he does have a normal respawn timer, the other 2 respawn almost right after they are killed. this is the platform where you get your first AG wanderlust update.
Mob is found on north side of Ashengate. Head to the chamber and we had him as one of the 3 guardians of scale by the ledge needed for Y'ssuria quests. Had him drop earring, kings disk and insignia. Don't know if it was just me but seemed to have a small ramp or AE, but can't verify that.
