I got there and found Thunderwood just waiting for me so I killed. I then went around burning trees and blazin giants for what seemed like an etenity. I had asked in general chat if anyone knew the spawn rate and no reply. So I went on killing. Had 3 giants at once, nuking away and almost done, down to 23% mana, BAM! Thunderwood spawns just a few feet away!
So I would say spawn rate is 23% mana .

All TSS zones are new to me so I've been hitting 'em often.
Took down Thunderwood tonight, 40 Warrior/40 Wizard (boxed) with Cleric merc. Was not a problem. Was doing Akins quest from Crescent Reach (#6 Everburning).
He dropped Ring, chest pattern, treant bark x2, and Raw Supple Runic Hide.

OK i would realy like this shield for my pally and sk. what is hs pop timmer or is it ph based? and duse any 1 know how rare the drop rate is on the shield?

I have killed it roughly 2 dozen times, and the shield dropped for me last night.

killed him about 25 times and has not droped the arms patern yet lol so the 1 in 6 times drop rate someone spoke of is off or i got bad luck :)
