Blight Pyre EmberJust curious...
I've been trying to solo this critter for weeks now, but I just recently had an idea. Have any Necro's ever tried sending pet in to hit it and at the same time using QVoX (Quivering Veil of Xarn)? I wondered if doing that and then following it up with swarm pets would work and give enough time before it gets another DT ready? Also, if I used FD after initial HT is used on pet (theoretically) would I have aggro after it's second DT is used 30 sec's later, or could I FD through that one without getting hit? I would think that there has to be a way to kill this without someone having to die?!

Just death touched me for 47000 points of damage, but luckily I had more. If you can take the initial DT, this can be done solo.

How do you aggro this mob? Killed all plaguebringers, yet puller could not get Direwind Current to engage.

Named is also about 80 min to an hour and a half (spawn time)

Very little HP's... DT's puller as soon as aggro'd, try to aggro right after DT with MT, if you have a wiz/rogue/necro/bers go all out dps and he'll die before he gets another DT out, all you need is one of those classes to own him easily. Hits 250's on 1k5 ac on me, probably about 100 to a good tank... very easy, like fighting a mob in fear

Direwind will DT puller. Have cleric ready to instant rez so you don't have to do this quest mob twice to get everyone flagged. the bummer is, this mob only drops 3 quest loots. so you'll end up doing it twice anyway. Burn him down quickly or he'll DT another group member in 30 seconds. Respawn time is 60 or 70 min.
