Trio'ed on Fippy Darkpaw with Bard, Mage, Cleric.
Max hit on full defensives bard with half anguish half TSS gear = 3300. Most hits were between 1500-2500. Missed a lot. I never dropped below 70% health. Quite easy and fight lasted maybe 30-45 seconds.

Um...Summons = YES.
Every hit and he quads or quins, but it really looks like he double quads = 3000+ with lots of 4ks.

He hit for 5000 even on my Wizard bot who has zero defense and <500 displayed AC.

tried him today solo, calculated roughly 170k hps. dunno :\
Duoed him 3 times today with a druid (who has max AAs) and im a ranger 1050ish AAs. Both are semi Anguish geared, and one of the kills we were only self buffed.
I believe the key to tanking taruskor is having enough HPs to withstand a round of attacks, so maybe 13k or so. Since he hits real slow (even if unslowed) heals can be used to patch the tank. of course, DPS is key.
Our strat: snare/root taruskor and have druid debuff him... engage with Weaponshield and attempt to slow (engage with protection of the spirit wolf if weaponshield is down) and when WS drops, pop the spirit wolf. After slowed, burn burn burn!

Just taken him out lvl 75 war(2.9k ac 16k hp full defensive), 75 sham 430aa's, and boxed cleric lvl 71. God this guy hits hard, with final stand on hitting 2.6k over 4k without final stand.
Cleric and shammy nearly oom after fight. Baby druid happy tho got earring and leather boot pattern.

He casts a spell by the name of tusk sweep, don't know what it does just know I resisted it, he dropped plate boot mold which I was the lucky recipient of and he also dropped the earring, which the druid got. Does anyone know what tusk sweep is?

took this bad boy out with me 73 warr 75 monk 2x 75 wizzies both wizzts manaburned took him to like 30 % by then i was at 12% health nukes him down to 12% i died n both wizzys went down at about 2% and monk owned so anything is possible :)

oh.. one more thing. After you kill him wait a few mins as there is a chance he respawns. I've seen him respawn twice after a kill right on top of his own corpse.

Spawns by the wizard port in, PH seesm to be any mammoth there, hit my beastlord for a max of about 4.8k, but as others have said he hits slowly. Has alot of HP though, close to double the HP of regular mammoths. Was tankable by a 10.8khp unbubfed, 1.8kac unbuffed beastlord with a 12k mana cleric healing. Cripple seesm to really help on this mob, dmg taken was noticably dropped once i was able to land cripple on it. Dropped earring both times along with plate boots first time and silk second time.

I'm pretty sure he was giving his unbuffed stats as reference for others to guage tanking difficulty, not that he was actually unbuffed during fight.

Tanked by Drearn (Monk) on the Drinal server, don't let the description set you off. His average hit is closer to 2k, and again, hits very slowly.

From a beta report this mob does not summon. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Does summon. Luckily SOE had the foresight to know that kiters would be camping the entire zone at all hours of the day and wanted to give groups that didn't run from mobs with their tails tucked a chance. Sorry, but the amount of kiting that goes on in Icefall is crazy. Saw one person kiting 5 bears yesterday. Later saw the same person donating for a rez then trying it again. Anyway took out this big fella yesterday with 14k sk with 2.6k AC, cleric and druid on heal rotation, beastlord for slows dps and looting, and a ranger on trueshot. He went down pretty quick, but hit upwards of 4k as posted on the page. Once slowed he was under control, slow hitter. Cast some spell (mammoth swing I think) that never landed on me. Dropped chain boot pattern and earring.

No kidding. What a putz. He acts like he is something special because he's not any smarter than to stand there and get hit. He thinks he's some kind of bad a$$, but he has 2 healers. He's a real tough guy. Pfft.

I hate the bot armies because they are the reason kiters have to go out and kite. Also, the reason non-kiters sit LFG for hours on end and even when the botters have 1 spot open in their groups they don't invite others out of greed. Talk about somebody without any objectivity.

14k hp and only 2600 ac?? OUCH quit trying to impress people with a magelo and get equipped to take a hit.
I'd rather have a 14khp / 2.6k ac tank than some of those 16khp 1.9-2k ac tanks.. really later in the game, and on nameds.. your HP wont matter if its hitting you for full.. that extra AC mitigates more dmg than the HP would allow him to take..
or maybe you could post something useful instead of flaming someone for their gear? He Dosen't even have a magelo listed ..
