Spores appear to be on a timer. Ran him around with a bard for a while, spores popped. Used Fading Memory and fought him on his hill... they didn't spawn at all.

the adds have little hp. not sure how many but i'd say less than 2k.
if you do not kill them quickly they might drop your tank. i used beam of solteris and sent them all dead swiftlike. so have an AE of some sort up to take care of the adds. they hit hard, but cannot take a beating.

3 boxable
# Aug 23 2007 at 5:45 PM Rating: Decent
3 boxed him a week ago, had lvl 75 wiz with 12k mana pool, 10k cleric, and a 2650 AC 1500 HP warr with maz defense aa's. Didnt spawn any adds. Hit warr for around 2k ish max. Wiz burned him down mostly, had to use paitent harvest once. I figure he had around 150k HPs. Hope this helps

We 1-grouped him, but at some random % he spawned 5 sporeling adds, which hit for a lot more than 600... max hit on me was for about 2300, and that was with the Tortugone slow recourse on me (damage mitigation) The adds all died when the monk whirlwind'd though, and he died with just 2 members of the group left (Bard and Monk), and the monk died as he did. Our group consisted of a paladin, cleric, monk, shaman, warrior and bard.

Tried this guy and at 40% left of its health it spawned 6 sporeling adds that wiped our cleric and then the mob just ate us...=x so unless your ready for adds don't try this guy lol...also rampages AE i think.

OK would like to add that I tried this guy 2 times. First times adds poped at 10% and we wiped cause they went right for the Cleric, there were 3 at least. Second time they poped at 90% and did not see how many so looks like it may be a random pop percentage?

This mob hits slightly harder than other mobs around him, and I beleive he attempted to root me. still mostly hit in the 600-1500 range with an average of 1300.

at about 40%, he spawned a pair of "sporeling" adds, which wiped group.

they hit range 200-900. average 600

oh, btw... Arakeen runs just a little slower than run3 speed
