He's a tough little *******, but at 35 you should be able to handle him. The others don't help him at that level. Don't worry about retreating to the bridge coz most of the guards there are way beneath his level - you'd have to hope for a dragoon there for help.

He generally has good loot in the order of 5 pp.

If your lucky, a SK and a Necro can drop him (lvl 13+) as long as you don't find a tough one of these

A group of six level 10 avg. We were hunting the rapidly spawning orc camp, and having a hell of a party i might add! watched over by 2 lvl 16 wiz,mag. During the mele one of the 16s aggroed this guy and several hectic minutes later we were all dead! We were all over this guy giving him everthing we had, as one of the two tanks I can tell you he was the target of alot of spells. Most of these people are alts. of high level players not noobs and this guy just mopped the forrest floor with us. If you see him good luck!

my lvl 30 sk wandered on him and he conned even at the time so yes his range must vary and he was killing a newbie near the zone to commons past the bridge..in the forrest..

Does anyone have any info about this guy...Was killing halflings like a good little darkie and then he popped and started healing and kicking me ***** all over the place. Any info would help.

I hate this guy. I took a lvl 18 Necro, with an equally high pet, and we only worked him down to half hps. Now i remember being a lowly lvl Necro and accidentally wandering into their territory.. But dammit if Nektulos is not my home as well. So they killed me at lvl 8 or so. Well today I went back for revenge,and he spawned right in the middle and killed me. He conned tombstone red, and i will have my revenge.. Oh yes, I will have my revenge.

The Deputy that spawns in Nektulos can be a nasty little monster. He seems to make rounds between the three halfling camps, and his little druid buddies usually cast damage shield on him. At 20, sometimes he's green to me, sometimes red ... last night he was even with me and soloing him took me down to 1/2 bbl of health (fortunately he tried to run at the very end). If you see me sitting in EC at Nek zone with low health, likely the ******* chased me out. I've never seen both the Deputy and the Medic at the same time, perhaps they trade off.

I hate this guy, he was walking along while i am killing parahnas and he jumps me for no reason. I am a war halfling and i expected him not to attack me any idea why yhe attacked me

This guy must really range in lvl. I was killing the halflings at the ruins on the Neriak side of the river the other day with my lvl 10 de necro. I was keeping an eye out for the Deputy, since he likes to drop by when his buddies are getting beat on. After I killed all the halflings, whata ya know here comes the Leatherfoot Deputy. He was still pretty far away, so i conned him. He was even to me at lvl 10. So I went ahead and sent my pet after him. After a few DoT spells, a couple of fears and a lifespike, he went down. I didn't even lose my pet. After Killing him with my necro, I felt pretty good. So myself a lvl 7 de cleric, and a few friends, 7 Sk and 7 wizzy, were camping the halflings at the same area. Well here comes the LD, I thought, we can take him. Mind you that this is only a couple of hours after my 10 necro had beat him. He was red, but since I thought he was lvl 10, and my friends and I were semi-twinked we went for it, well to make a long story short after HT, many nukes, and me healing away, he had lost maybe 1 Hp, not really, but it wasn't much. The SK died, the wizzy gated, *******, and I ran for the hills....er bridge. I made it to the path and was going towards the bridge, and noticed he hadn't hit me in a while. So what did I do, yep, turned around to see if he was following me. The answer, of course, was yes. Matter of fact not only was he following me, but a couple of bears and skeletons joined in too. Point is, and this can be said for most things in the game, con him everytime. With a lvl range as large as 10 to 30 or 40, as some say, this guy is bad news for a lot of people. I am living....or dying proof.
