Nothing special from him but 2 acolytes spawn at the start of the fight. All heal which makes it tough on 70+ mobs.

After the fight 2 more acolytes will spawn on the outside door to the tower with the named. They don't agro, and since we had a druid we succored. Just be wary if you have to run back out.
