So the items link properly to the mob that grants them when you're searching, you should link the following items as loot for Suchun himself:
Vial of Smoldering Blood
Black Shard of Mana
You receive the Vial of Smoldering Blood on your cursor when Suchun dies if you haven't done the rest of the Deathknell Progression in order.
If you have done the progression in order, you get Black Shard of Mana on your cursor upon Suchun's death.

If you do the kills out of order, you can end up with the Vial instead of the Black Shard.
If you do the progression mods in the proper order, Daosheen gives you a Black Orb of Daosheen the First, Sullon Zek converts your Shard of Mana to a Glowing Shard of Mana when you kill her, you hand your Glowing Shard of Mana to the Shrine of Druzzil Ro and get a Red Shard of Mana, and Suchun gives you a Black Shard of Mana when you kill him.
If you do Suchun before you have your Red Shard of Mana, you get the Vial of Smoldering Blood. I posted the details here.
