On a small table on the second floor in one of the out of the way bedrooms, a leather journal spawns that you can pick up and read. It gives the recipe for ornate chain, and explains that the gypsies are there to make ornate chain for all the mistmore guards. It also explains that they are not particularly thrilled with the idea.

He's right i day back or so i was camping crush for fun and i am a lvl 39 pally with 864 ac and a royal guard orc backstabbed me for 97dmg!
point is seemingly harmless low lvl spawns can backstab for alot of dmg. So youd better literally watch your back in MM cuz thye do bs there and its usually pretty high too

is this Newbie scare?

can she be in either Gypsy or werewolf form to loot the talon, or only in wolf form to loot the talon?

I always thought there was some story to the gypsies in MM. One day I pulled out the ambassador with my 51 ench and tried to charm her to see if I could get any info from her. I tried many many times and she was not charmable to me. Odd.

Dictate didn't work either, and that's unresistalbe. It simply said "This NPC cannot be charmed"

Werewolves spawn in place of the gypsies rarely, they botch can drop either the claw or talon but wolves don't drop the instuments

Had a mistmoore battle drum drop off a werewolf on 7th hammer. 31july2001. had 2 drums drop in 6 hours one off the enchanter and other off a werewolf. Also 2 tradeable lutes and many no drop lutes

This mob spawns with the Negotiator in the castle. They are Rogues, as are all gypsies, and can backstab barehanded for OBSCENE ammounts of damage. They do not get replaced by werewolves at night, the werewolf spawns in the garden.

Yes it is true she hits for 231 and higher.... Here is the catch... BACKSTAB. I was on the end of one of her brutal backstabs..OUCH..BTW conned blue at 39 so lev is about right.

maybe by a spell, but not hit for that much in MM, nothing there hits for that hard. nothing there is lvl 50, either.

Thats where your wrong. Mayond Mistmoore (owner of castle) is a level 53. I'm sure he hits that hard. If not then prolly damn close to it.

Just so you know there is now two creatures i have seen that are lv 49+ in MM. One is a dark Huntress who was red to a 46, and blue to a 53.
The other was a Ghostly dog of some type that was again red to a 46 and blue to a 53.

i got hit by the dark huntress for a very short time, actually only twice, once for 118 and once for 120 i think, so i don't know if that was her high or not.

Another thing is that Mayong Mistmoore is lvl 53 when pulled out of the closet and played by GM's. he was taken out because his aggro was too high for the size of the zone, and he trained the zone all the time(well whenever he spawned)....since there are alot of 30's low 40's in this zone he would aggro people halfway accross the mansion :)

I had heard rumors of one other lvl 50+ in MM, that was a named werewolf that ???did?? spawn in the CY(very rare spawn), and dropped a wonderfull BP(effect:werewolf form, 40ac and +str) and tail(belt with stats, and nice haste) Alas that was a rumor and i can't say if this is true or not =p

I agree with him shut up. I have been backstabed by an initiate for over 180 so why the hell do you say she cant hit that hard. Especialy if it was a backstab like she said. Shut up and pay attention before typing stupid stuff.

You people are such FOOLS!!! Mayong Mistmoore doesnt spawn in the game anymore and nothing in there hits for over 200. And plus that the 3rd and 4th post on this subject are prolly the one that started it and she doesnt want to look like a fool that doesnt know what the hell she is talking about.No one is that stupid as to post 3 BS posts but Tallanar. It is not nice to call people fools, especially when you are wrong. It is true that Mayong Mistmoore doesn's spawn, but it is NOT true that nothing hits for over 200. The Black Dire hits for 225. I don't know how much the backstabs can do, because I always keep away from them.

I think met with one of these at the zone and I swore I was hit for 251 damage. It was a gypsy for sure, not a musician though. It has to be level 50 or so.
