Guard Gonin can be found at 80.02, 2453.02, 1.28, next to Guard Kyte. They both respawned there after about 20 minutes, and they both dropped Rusty Short Swords.

Killed these guiys at L30 with my druid, was easy as pie and they give half a blue bub!

Okay.. I was running along the shore from the Druid ring the other day with my 23 Druid.. As I was running along I was hittin my Track button incase I saw anything that looked like fun to kill. Well.. lo and behold.. two little dwarfie guards pop up on track.. both yellow to me.
So, I figured I'd try 'em out. Harmonied them, snared one, nuke, nuke, nuke.. etc. I don't remember which one I took out first.. but they both resisted snare and grasping roots the first 3 to 4 times.
Also.. something else I noticed.. I was kiting the last guard along the shore towards the Druid ring (and being careful to keep him away from the upcoming merchants) .. when all of a sudden.. *POP* he disappears! I'm thinkin "what the heck.. ?" I still had him targetted.. so I knew he had to be somewhere.. so I pulled up Track again.. and tracked him right back to the tower where he spawned!
Also.. when I got there.. he was still itchin for a fight.. so I took him down too.
Nice xp and decent loot.. and an EASY kill for a 23 Druid.

I swear revenge on this stinky dorf AND his buddy. I was passing through BB when I was 28 or 29 the first time when I happened upon these two. I was returning from LFay where I had spent almost two full levels killing the Rangers there (level 25 spawns). So I see these guys both conning blue to me and figure I can take them one at a time (I'm a monk so I fight only WHEN I want and WHAT I want) so I manage to pull Gonin from his buddy and commence the whacking. To my surprise he had me down to 1 bubble before I had made a dent. I Feigned, rested, and tried once more. Same result. OK, I resigned myself to come back another day.
I revisited them at level 30 this time after killing Reskin and Tolus in EC for a while (they are level 25 also). I was a bit more confident and pulled as usual, and this time got him down to about half before I had to feign.
The short version ... these guys are incredibly tough for me despite the fact they are only one level higher than everything else I've been soloing for the last 4 levels. Ack, oh well, like the title says, I have sworn my revenge and I will return to pound them both into a pulp over and over again.
BTW I'm not sure they do, but if they drop Dorf meat, give it to your friendly local cook. They make Dorf chops (+2STR +2STA) and only weigh 0.1 per stack. This is excellent monk food and I hope that someday to have a lifetime supply, heheh.
