hes a gimp. max hit 2600 (with about 1300 ac (cloth class))

his aoe is no problem at all if you have extended range. though he hits quite fast CH is NOT an option, quick heal is more than sufficent, we had a full group ( 1 group ) consisted of 70 war (dont know hp or ac but assumeing 13k and about 2.2k ac) 70 cleric 69 cleric 70 necro (myself) and a 70 bst

by the time i could get my 5 spells off (about 15 sec maybe 20) the mob was at 55% sadly our clr's got in range of his aoe from not backing up in cordinance with push, but the warriors DD was still within 1/4th used. so its not hard just watch the aoe, dose rampage. and summon no ideal on speed but i know it droped 4k hp befor i could see i had been summoned ( im on a super pc with 0 lag takes baout 15 sec for me to load any zone) and i was dead

its not a good ideal to take him in side the encampment, (i noticed that when inside the encampment (mini fort btw) that i lost 120 ac from the flag, dont know if thats related to class race or what not.
so we pulled him ouside in the big open area, where no adds path and nuthign spawns. very strait foward.

Don't be fooled by the Resist check on Seething Rage, it's very incorrect.

Resists are key on this guy. Until Rage lands, I'm barely breaking a sweat. Once it does, 6k hits start flying in.

I got slow to land on him easily before his health was below 90%. I hit him with a Malo first tho.

First, this guy repops in 30 to 34 hours. 24 hours after a kill he will never be up. In 10 kills I saw 3 hat, 5 ring and 2 vambraces.

The AE stun is range 100 so it is fairly easy to avoid. Never managed to slow it with enchanter, but it never really mattered, it dies fast.

i have so much hate for this assclown. in 10+ kills i've seen ring twice. it's definately his rarest drop of the 3. one of those times i saw it i didn't kill him, my group wiped cause jackass warrior so another group jumped in and killed him and got my ring i've been after. the other time i lost on the roll to a ranger. that's a kick in the nutz to a druid, rangers have a PoS fire nuke. oh well, i guess they have 1 at least.

The AOE stun is short range. The cleric can stay OOR and spam heal.
It is very hard to get a slow to land on him.

He roams close to the ZI to the stronghold. And from what I have seen, he has a 24 hour repop.

If you look at the map, and view Dev as a clock, at roughly 11 oclock, due north from the center island/castle thingi. Upon his spawn, u will see yellow text, and he paths from 11 oclock to 10 oclock, killing all the tents in sight.

He does see invis, obviously.

Ragewind hit me for around 6.7k max with Stonewall disc active. Several shots between 4k and 6k in addition to that. Either defensive / stonewall has no effect on him or his max hit is upwards of 10k.

I'm mostly Tacvi / Anguish geared, all the mitigation and avoidance aa's, effects, and focii (max avoidance, shielding, dodge 3, parry 3 etc.).

DPS wasn't unbearable with a cleric and 2 druids, even with the big hits, but his stun locked me down (~400 MR) for a long period of time and I could not keep agro. Despite the Neg 70 resist mod check, I'd recommend trying with a bard in group to see if that AE is avoidable near 600 MR.

He has an AE, Seething Rage, that decreases melee mitigation by 200%. His max hit without it isn't much more than other red named in the zone.

In the five or so seconds I lived while tanking this guy, he cast Vortex Eddy. He seemed to quad, and hit me for max 2K-ish or so.
