myself [75ranger 12.9k 2.3k unbuffed 1k aa's] and gimp gimp shaman bot killed em pretty ez, had 5 adds at one point, weapon shielded and burned em down, straight forward fight, not a clue why i even killed him...
Soloable

This guys is easily soloable. I just did him with a 70 bst. Have /pet focus on and have all dps go onto the master. I slowed him, used defensive (10 second lame bst one) while I had SoP on. Once SoP fadded used fury and burned him down. After he was toast the little ones are trivial (more of a pain in da butt really). So I ran to the edge and jumped off into FP. Quest complete. Took about 35-45 mins total killing all the other stuff.

70 Necro did the kiting.
Did this once with 3-box Sham Nec and Mage, all 70.
Also did this with a hodge-podge of a group, lvls 56-70, with sham, cler, SK, and war.

Necro snares 1 of the 3 adds, FDs, snares the second, FD's, snares third. Once they are all snared, a tank or someone can tag the master, and the necro can kite the adds. Nec won't get summoned as long as he does not stack any DOT's besides snare, and no one else attacks adds. When the "group" kills master, then you can pick off the adds.

Hope this helps!

How will the nec not get summoned since a necromancer's snare is a dot?

As long as necro snare don't crit he will not be summoned. If mobs hit points stay above 97%, no summon. I think it's 97%

the damage done by Snare is not enough to cause the mob to start summoning. That is if you just snare you will be kiting for a good chunk of time before the amount of damage exceeds that of teh summoning limit

Now i did this. kited the adds while the others killed the master. and it works. But they do summon and after about 10-14 mins of kiting them they started summoning. If the necros has the skill you can also have him dot the Master on a pass by it.
Easily Killed

This guy is extremely easy, I boxed Cleric(main), with alt(Enchanter) and a 12k Monk... Monk tagged the followers and let them beat on him for about 5 seconds, then Enchanter AE mezzed, then Single Mezzed each.. Then he pulled herd off to the side and enchanter slowed him.. Cleric was just Chain CH'ing.. Didn't need more, Cleric was 90m at the end, and Enchanter was 20m at the end... GL and have fun!
Easy Trio

I have killed this guy a few times now. Just need a tank, healer, and a FD class for the split. The 3 spirit stags are chained to him but he is not chained to them. Just FD split them until they are away from each other and kite the 3 adds while your tank and healer own him.

Was quite easy with a 11k SK tanking and cleric healing him. (Also all 3 toons in group are not raid geared. They only had DoD groupable items on.

PS- Easiest split is use a bio orb (or blind) the master of the herd. He will run away but the adds will run for you. When blind wears off have the tank tag it and you have them split.

Master of the Herd is not Level 73.
He cons Dark Blue to me at 70 so 69 and lower.

We are gonna try and take him and his herd down with the following line up:

70 Druid
70 Mage
70 Mage
70 Enchanter
70 Ranger
70 Shaman

Will post what works and what doesnt.

Chanty had no issues keeping the 3 ponies mez'd.
I kept all toons and pets healed and dint even break a sweat.
Shammy Slowed Master and the Pets had no issues beatin the tar outta him while the Ranja made him into a pincushin.

No death and alot easier kill than we anticipated.

He paces back and forth, with three fellow goat/horse friends, between the backside of the lava area and the bridge thereafter.
