I have just now been all over Commonlands, as well as Nektulos (npc's get moved sometimes, it happens) and this guy is nowhere to be found. I have used tracking as well as looking for him in every possible and impossible place in both zones. I think he can officially be considered MIA. Will check back after this month's patch.

The post by Durgaa is correct, although you get another prize if you are caster/priest. The name/stats escape me at the moment since the instance seems bugged as of, tuesday, may 09 2006.

There are also quite a few augs you can get from this mission.

Bad Water Bill, Ranz, and only one of teh triplets drops the augs. By chance I also came across another aug, dropped by a deep forest spider, (not related to this instance other then that its in there), again name and stats escape me.

You have to kill West Woods dread wolf to get the hunter to spawn. You have to trigger some traps to get the gnome to spawn.

Kill the Jax Triplets 0/3 Nektulos Forest
Find Omar the Shive and slay him 0/1 Nektulos Forest

Slay the Hunter of the West Woods 0/1 Nektulos Forest
??? (something to do with killing Ranz Whipsting, don't know exact wording as its bugged still)

A couple of guildies and I did this one last night for fun just to see what it was. It does not appear to be a LDoN or MM that I can tell. There are no options like there are in an LDoN (collection, rescue, easy, hard) and you do not change form like in a MM. You do need at least 3 players in your group to do this. You are given the task to hunt down certain mobs and when you are done you should be rewarded with the Forrest Shadow Shoulders

You say “ready” (This then ports you into the instance in Nektulos Forrest.)

The mobs in this task are…
The Jax Triplets – 3 Trolls who look nothing alike!
Omar the Shiv – a Gnome (Looks like the bankers over in Dulak)
Bad Water Bill – A Troll that looks like he’s from Dulak
Hunter of the West Woods – Human, pops by the bridge.
Ranz Whipsting – A very large male Dark Elf. (Like the ones over in Dulak) Popped right where we killed the Hunter by the bridge.

There are a couple of augs in there as well,

Shiny Green Shard of Might STR: +4
Sparkling Garnet of Constitution HP: +8

This was a pretty fun and easy adventure for a 24 BST (myself), 26 RNG and a 28 (I think) SK. We weren’t able to do the adventure in the order listed since the mobs didn’t all pop in that order except the boss (Ranz) whom popped at the end. However we still were able to complete the mission and get the reward. After you kill the Hunter you will want to wait about 15-20 seconds and Ranz will pop right there. Ranz is the last and you won’t get him until you kill the others. As far as I can tell, you don’t need to kill any other mobs in the zone to trigger these but I could be wrong.
