Partial slows about 80% of the time on all of the Illsalin military with shackle of spirit. Acolytes are resistant, the rest don't need more then two casts. Unslowed, 3 of these can eat 65 nec pet wearing prime plate.

Also, I have yet to find a mob in this zone that can't be mana wracked. Keeps the cleric merc happy.

Make sure you pull with dispell also, some of them buff them self with a serious self buff to double their attack speed.

Level 55 Paladin on Prexus conned this mob as Dark Blue....badly misconned as it SMASHED my 59 Ranger in 90 secs. Pally zoned after I Ranger gated.
One question....how in gods name does a con below lvl 55 chain cast 700 - 900 cursed thoughts
Faction Hit?
# Jan 18 2007 at 11:31 AM Rating: Decent
Why do these mobs have a faction hit associated with them? 1) They are undead which are, with rare exception, kos to all living. 2) There is no known way (unless I missed something) to raise faction with them. I can totally understand why killing them would raise faction, but the hit makes no sense.

Yes, old post.

But...a faction is not just a game mechanic. It is a 'related (organized) group of creatures'. Obviously, when you have military you are part of a group, so it makes less sense that there is no faction involved.

It also gives game creators the option to implement aligned factions later on. I know - doesn't happen much in EQ.

Cons dark blue to me (lvl 65 Druid).

Snareable: Yes
Rootable: Yes
Summons: No

Did a critical blast on it for 2713 hp, which removed 15% of its total hit points, which using basic maths works out at a total of 18093 hp.

Oops forgot.

Faction as follows when killing these mobs.

Fallen Guard of Illsalin got worse
Free Traders of Malgrinor got better
Scions of Dreadspire could not possibly get better
Agents of Dreadspire got better

Odd that Scions of Dreadspire couldn't possibly get better since this was the first one I killed.
