Nice way to ruin a zone! I guess now that the tutorial dumps people into PoK, there is no further use for newbie zones. They were almost deserted before, now only 60+ are safe to wander them...

My wife and I just dropped one. (61 and 64 Druids)

Took a little while but no summoning, no spells.
Root and snareable.

Dropped 2 Rusty longswords and a 30% xp potion.
