Fight him in his room, he gates. If rogue dies for some reason outside both rooms, door will be locked- and you will get summoned 1 at a time :P

65 warrior (tank)(me), 70 druid, 70 mage, 70 rogue, 70 cleric, 61 shammy (my bot didnt do anything lol), 60 cleric ( didnt do anything either) the 70's were in the best guild on stromm, time flagged/time geared/GoD geared. killed him about 5min or so fight, only got to 18% once, other times i was fine, used Defensive Disc, Furious disc and that is about it, i got the hammer, it looks like the gray stick.

Absolute Max hit is mid 1700's when hitting a caster. Have magic resistance up. 1st attempt he feared the tank and ran em right out the locked door. He spawns a pet - but not a specter pet like the normal Emperor.
To pull the room, I buffed the necro pet, feigned death, sent pet in on first mob on the left, let it take 1 swipe, and used /petback. This brought all the mobs except the Fabled Emperor. Better to break up the spawn if the Emperor isnt up, but if he is up, you might want to try this.
Most hits on the tank were 200-1100hp. Mitigated Forlorn Deeds from a 66 Ench. Watch for slow fading after 3-4 minutes. Will have to re-slow unless DPS is really good.
Respawn is 28.5 minutes I think.

Mob hit tank for a little over 1100, but was slowable and didn't seem to mitigate slow.
Took a while to kill. The hard part is getting into the crypt area.
