There are now 2 mobs called "The bloodforge brigade" that stand outside the ent. to the castle. They look exactly like regular guards. Didn't say anything to my level 22 rogue though, dunno if you need faction, high level, or if they aren't for anything. The king calls for the Bloodforge brigade when attacked (i dismarmed a fine steel short sword from him ;)

Why is he even there if he doestn drop anything. That is pointless. I guess that is Verant for ya.

Wouldn't it be cool if the put uber loot on him upped his lvl and the guards around him. IT would be like icewell keep on antonica.

Must you kill him? He is so good, and pure. Leader of the dwarves, i would hope he killed the lot of you that tried to kill him, for he is my king... :)

Ok guys, i posted about the dwarf guards in butcher earlier, after i got 53 through butcher guards i got bored and moved into kaladim. I hooked up with a lvl 51 mag, and we started fighting at the kaladim zone. ALL GUARDS CAN BE PULLED SINGLE WITH BOND OF DEATH OR TAPS!!!. Basically at zone there is one roamer that you will have to wait on because you can end up with two guards and in a mess if you don't deal with him first. Then it's easy single pulls all the way to the king. Remember a necro is very helpfull if not neccessary. Pull with bond of death, then cast pact of shadow on the pet that is being attacked, shadowbound works great if you are 54 as well. Ok so this mag and i fight our way all the way till we see the castle. There are many roamers that walk from inside the castle entrance, but you will most likely have cleared all these out when making your way in. So you're stuck with a nec and a mag outside the castle not knowing what the hell is in there. Going inside you wont see any guards, i start with the guard in the lookout tower, just run by him and jump down and he'll come out the castle door alone, be sure to do /pet back off if you were hit. Take that one down then you can move in to where you can see the thrown room. Thrown room has about 6 guards in it and the king. Once again these guards don't assist each other, even though they are all blues. All i had to do was get one guard in sight through the door and just target him, and most likely he'll aggro and come alone to you and your waiting pets. Do this until you can get into a view to see the king without being aggroed by guards. NEVER GO IN THE ROOM, just target guards form outside. All you have to do to get the king alone is click on him and he'll aggro and shout something like "I call my guards to assist me in battle" or something like that but no guards come hehe. So now you have the king and it's just you and the mag. Send pets, the king hits for 150dmg and is lvl 50. He's low mr. What i did was just asystole to debuff him a little, then ebolt, then i cast harmshield and sat right at his feet tanking for our pets. The mag should be nuking this whole time. I get up right b4 harmshield wears (king should be at about half health by now), then cast bod and start healing pets, occasionally stepping in to take a hit or to then tap. Mag can take some hits as well. And soon the king will be dead, and you get some exp and no loot whatsoever. The first time i killed the king he had a whole bunch of crap that newbies had given him hehe. Well my secrets out, at lvl 55 drawrf guards are greening out and i have no more use for killing them.

I discovered this the hard way, he hates enchanters. I'm kindly considered by the guards but I walked into the throne room, and he starts babbling about my past deeds standing record and how enchanters are evil. And proceeded to order his guards to kill me.
Which they did about about 45 seconds of painful running.

a bunch of high lvl trolls killed him on veeshan a while back..he didnt drop anything

I've been wanting to kill this guy with some friends for a while.. also interested if anyone has killed him and his guards (surely someone has). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
