Fight him on the path, never pull him out of that room, or your whole raid will endure denial of flight (7,500 DD + root). Stay on the path or adds spawn. Besides that pretty much like any other fight. Adds are mezzable I believe.

Some additional info is that he has a gflux type spell that will knock people off the path while you're fighting him.
