Can be one grouped now, mix of demi/anguish geared folks. Two clerics, one warrior, one sk, one ranger and one shammy. 65 minutes roughly from start to end.
agreed, just did with 82 warrior, 85 mage, 85 shammy, 80 sk, 85 necro, and 83 beastlord. the mage,shammy, necro are all tier 4 SoD geared. the warrior was in all tier 3 sod except for 1 piece of tier 4. the sk had 1 tier 3 sod piece and rest was cultural, and the beast was in all BB gear. GOOD LUCK!
Only the MA needs to move Rikki around as he/she sees fit.

Rikkukin (Frozen Aura) focuses inwardly and heals his wounds through sheer force of will. (Frozen Aura - Rikkukin regens and cannot be harmed by melee or spells)
Strat: As long as the MA keeps the head towards him on left/right/front attacks the rest of the raid will be ok. On tail sweeps the MA flips Rikki so that the head is on the same side as the rest of the raid force. Good chance that if MA doesn't do this, a lot of peeps will die. The "ambient light" line is a blind. The whole raid force (minus the MA) must face away from Rikki to avoid behind blind. Have 2 people assigned to cure blindness on MA and MGB heals are helpful as well.
Just took Down Rikky with 19 Most anguish geared with 4 clerics as healers. took 14 minutes and Dropped Eye(grats Krac), Chain Pants(grats me) and Leather Legs(grats rot)
Hehe we have downed rikky with 19 people I think in the past but our guild is mostly DoD geared at best at the time. Probably a lot tougher then if we were CoA geared but still pretty fun.
Can someone please post the EXACT emotes he does just before he sets off his directional AOE ?
I would like to create audio trigers to work with them. I'll record *move left* *move right* Move to front* *move to back* wave files... and set them to the appropriate audio trigger.
I'll also setup one for *LOOK AWAY* for the emote of his blind.
But without having the exact emote text... does me no good... Can anyone parse their log file if they encountered him and post it please......
There is a small "U" shaped "canyon in the rock wall at about location 6250,1475. Our guild's MT drags Rikki there and it's a simple matter of the MT shifting sides of the canyon to turn Rikki's attacks away from all the DPS who are facing in. Casters and healers stay back a bit and face away from the dragon. As long as the MT is on his game he can run from side to side and turn the left/right claw attacks to the opposite side of the DPS group. Frontal and Tail attacks rarely hit anyone other than MT/ST. DPS group only needs to face away during blind.
Yes, we have had problems finding a place to position him as of yet.
There is a place to position him. He can be walled so that clerics can heal from out of LOS. Course, I haven't tested my theory and I cannot give away a guild strat. We'll see later if I am right or not. Don't give up, it's there, just keep looking. =)
There is no spot that is out of LoS. We left a cleric and shaman bot at the zone in thinking we could drag for battle rezzes. They got wasted. So no spot in the zone can save you from the AE. Just got to pay attention.
This guy is not hard. His aoe is about 3k dmg, 750 per tick, dont bother trying to resist(goes off about every minute). Hits for around 3k quad . Unslowable I beleive. At around 60 percent he becomes frozen aura for around 30 seconds and heals and reflects spells and takes less dmg. At around 30% he starts to do a AOE blind that you have to face away to avoid. During the entire fight he also is doing directional emotes. Frontal, right, left, and behind. Besides the main tank if u get hit by the left/right/behind aoes u will take around 7k dmg, not fun. You have around 10 seconds to get out of the way of those aoe's. Position clerics under his stomach to avoid. Regen is very big on this guy, around 6k per tick, and hp is also rather large. Overall very easy. Drops 3 loots.
Now, how about people stop posting worthless freggin posts about mobs, sheeze.

Well, he seems to hit for about 2900 melee. Has at least 2 spells, one a spell sheild that reflects spells back at the caster and a big AoE ice spell Crystal Chill Fog
hits 2500+, though I only tanked him after all the warriors died for a very short time. If your raid can follow his emotes and move within that short time frame, you dont need much heals other than to the tanks.
First off you need to do mission to gain faction. and get offered more missions. there is also a 24 person raid beofre this one and lost of group missions too. it is not something you can just go hail and get it have to work on the faction and stuff and wait for it to be offered
I have faction. I have one raid left for tier 3 to be complete. is it a raid you get from the one mission vendor that gives raids though? or is it a progression raid? I think is what I am asking...
