If you stand on the ledge overlooking the lava lake, right next to Laura Rako, look to the west and a little to the south, the ledge with those goblins, the sage to the right is the ph, loc +1510, +434.

is this guy live on the TLP? thanks in advance for any replies.
Old post but definitely not on a tlp during classic. Killed all these goblins quite a bit and have not found any or the roaming invis PH or named during classic. I see this mob on my other server. Anyway, these skins and a few other items almost drop 1-3 times per kill and they all sell for 1 to 1.4 plat. Also Raw fine hide drops here, can get 10 hides in about 4 hours. Lavaspinners say ready to attack but they never attacked me while sitting next to them.

For what it's worth the Solusek Goblin Assassin is live and active during the LDoN era at least, he jumped me on Phinigel this evening after leaving SolB.
I do agree that it's highly unlikely the Commander or the Assassin are active during the Classic/Kunark eras as Daybreak were very adamant about removing a lot of the out of era named, specifically in Lavastorm (RIP Lavaspinner Elite grinding.)

Lvl 22 Necro DE w/ merc healer. Sat up on hill waitting for him to spawn, 3rd spawn was the kicker, con red . Used Clinging Darkness lvl 4 snare (forgot to upgrade snare ), Heart Flutter lvl 13, & Poison Bolt lvl 4 for dots. Word of Shadow & Siphon Life for nukes. Pet beatting on him from the side , me with a crude defiant club .
easy fight and nice upgrade from Writ of the Fallen
sorry forgot to state ; Buffed w/ Blessing of Piety , Symbol of Ryltan, Ward of Vie , Bravery , Shielding (necro), Spirit Armor (necro), Grim Aura and Allure of Death

He spawns at the western Solusek Goblin camp on the volcano rim as previously mentioned. His place holder is the western-most Solusek Goblin sage. A sage always spawns at this spot (I've killed it a bajillion times).

While facin the named NPC Laura Rako (On the part extending into the lava pit), Turn left and look at the first part that also sticks out. He spawned there surrounded by a Priest, Fighter, and sage, has probably 1.3k hp but only hits for ~35

Killed him with my 52 druid, was exploring the zone. I was astonished seeing this drop... it dropped and so did my jaw... knowing they were somewhere in mid to low level. I had No idea they were only 25ish... I will have to mention he had 3 casters body guarding him on a presipus overlooking the lava sort of near a named female npc. When you concider other old school drops like : Cracked Darkwood Shield (ac+12 Strength+10) off a level 20-25... this thing is godlike, and the zone wasnt even part of an expansion, just a beef up. It would be dangerous for a level 20 that deep in the zone, or even a group, one goblin around the corner nuked my 52 for about 153 damage. Its probably good hunting from 12-35 or higher? but could be dangerous concidering roaming.

I have killed the commander for two of the Dented Plate Bracers now. He is on the Outcrop near the big lavapool - near the Solusek Goblin Lookout

As long as I doubleposted anyway, let me add that I've cleared the spawn area a lot of times since I first saw him and haven't seen him again since. I don't know if it was just bad luck or if he's hella rare. I'd like to see if he has any other drops though as Molgo, Lookout, Assassin and Burnt Overlord all have two drops.

I don't know if it was just bad luck or if he's hella rare. I'd like to see if he has any other drops though as Molgo, Lookout, Assassin and Burnt Overlord all have two drops.
