look at it...stupid winged rat with cute teeth that can kill a frost giant...LOL If it poos on your backpack, it wants you to give it all your stuff. Don't try to run away or kill it: this baby can really kick butt. In just 45 years, it TOTALLY knocked out 1 Hipoint!!!!!! AVOID THESES BEASTS!!!!!!!!!!

couldn't find any of them last night in NQ. at first i thought it was just me, or maybe something wrong with my track list. but then i waited and checked the whole zone for more than an hour... all gone. i wondered if the same thing happened to other newbie zones on my server.

these are soo easy to solo, especially at lvl one on my pally twink. What i like to do is go here and collect bat wings for my enchanter.

If u are new to game i suggest soloing these, or getting a full group and slaughtering them. i came to kill these with my lvl one ogre and i killed two guards, i found that the guards were much better exp than bats.

Posted: May 19 2001 at 10:00 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The hardest bats can be found in the mysticle zone Greater Faydark. if you look way of to the side of the zone, then climb up the wall, drink alot of beer, and stare at the wall really hard, you will see the bat, it looks like a wall but it is an ILLUSION. u attack it by jumping backwards, when u try to attack it will say u have no target but the game is lying u really cant hit it and when it says u fell for 50 pints of damage thet really mean a bat hit u for 50 points of damage. it has a billion life and only a lvl 1-10 person could kill it or a 50-60. Only the least experienced players should attempted fighting it. all others may certainly die. REMEMBER it cannot move and always stay as drunk as possible! It drops a question mark which lets you lets u choose any item in the whole game. GL killing it have personally never saw it but have heard only one person has ever killed it.

Playing as a HW guy (human race) I was equipped with a grenade launcher and laser-scope sniper rifle. Took these out pretty fast and easy. This game is easy.

I know of quite a few merchants with infinite supplies and they sell for 1silverish per. Check your local merchant in East Commons or Enchanter guilds.

Yep, there's at least one merchant who has infinite bat wings. The one I know is in the Freeport's casters guild, 1st floor I think

There is also an Erudite woman in East Commons, I believe the first lone building to the Left. She sells infinite wings also. Sorry I can't remember the name.

They are the toughest creature in the game and drop the Fiery Avenger as a common drop. They duel wield and double attack so u can get hit for over 200 per blow. They also have a spell which hits for 4000 damage and can lay hands plus ensnare root poison and debuff u in many ways. There rare drop is a bat wing.

Whack these dudes and collect stacks of 20 of em and then auction em. You can get a few pp or more for that higher lvl player that is not intent on wasting time killing bats. So, bat whack when things are slow for humans, most Norrath evenings!

I know, ive fought them many times and they always train!!! These are BY FAR the best way to get bat wings
