Camping this mob today and it's been brutal few hours with no Frantic pops at all. Hoping I can get lucky on this one.

Bold Textthis mob is defiantly a pita. I've been camping him for a few months off and on now. at the fire pit. the spawn times are 15 to 20 minute 4 me. My beast lord is now level 76. Decided to camp him today until he spawns. The cycle went off and on between spectral and ravenous for a while. then 2 ravenous hit back to back followed by 2 more spectral.I think the place holder spawns are random personally, not seeing anything consistante to prove other wise
During this time i had my pet in the middle of were the 3 place holders spawn so she would kill the place holders as they popped. This is one of the more frustrating spawns to camp since it is a rare spawn. Time and patience are needed for it. The spectral spawned in about 1 hour for me. Was glad i finally got it.

After killing every roaming Ravenous wolf I could find .. then starting in on the Spectral wolf's .. I finally read a few posts and gave up on the non-sense.
Once I got to the fire ring / circle out toward the center from UP line I camped the 3 wolf spawns on the soouthern side of the ring, to avoid the 3 *Xi Vuix* type mobs on the northern half of the Fire ring / circle.
The spawns were fairly fast 10-15 minutes max for a lvl 61 Beastlord and no mercenary. By the time I killed the last one .. the 1st one would spawn. Cleared the 3 spawns 4 times before the Frantic Ravenous Beast spawned. Every spawn set was a different mix of *spectral / ravenous8 mobs.
Frantic Ravenous Beast hit me max 687 on a 61 Bst wearing a mix of Flawed and Intricate defiant gear with 75 AA's. Finally got a 62 Cleric to come over and heal me for the kill. Took me about 9 minutes to kill him.

ten minute spawn timer on wolves at fire pit still waiting on spawn will let you know if it spawns here... confirmed he spawns at the flame pot in the middle of maidens there was no particular order the wolves spawn he is just random

I killed the frantic ravenous beast this morning. It wasnt up on track for my bard box. But I went to the firepit near the UP zoneline and camped the 3 "wolf" spawns. I dont know how long the spawns were, 15 or 20 mins each spawn. Sometimes they were two ravenous beasts and another wolf type ( i forget the name). But on the spawn before the frantic ravenous appeared, all three spawns were ravenous beasts.

The 3 Ravenous Beast set up might be the case. I was camping for about 6 hours total, and I noticed what you said so I decided to keep an eye out. Sure enough, the spawn just before the Frantic Ravenous Beast spawned, there were 3 ravenous beasts at the fire pit.
I wonder if they go through some sort of rotation on spawns eventually working around to this guys.

Got the same spawns, but the frantic did not spawn.

Does anyone have any other info on this mob. I've camped this mob for a month on and off, and it will not spawn.

I can't tell you if luck was with or against me here... I walked into ME and when i got to the top platform before going outside BAM I have at least 8 mobs on me.... So I zone and regen and get my pet back up just assuming it was someone's train. So I do a /who in Dawnshroud and theres no one there who could've pulled that train on me... I zone back into ME and do another /who and nope, theres no one there! Anyway, I cam to found that the mobs were popping at my feet as if I summoned them... THERE ARE DEFINETLY MORE than 3 frantics in the zon at once because they cam one after the other at my feet... I killed for a long while using this glitch and frantic didn't pop so I just left to go help my friend.

Ok I have ben here for 3 days and i have not se him once I know it was posted that he is a Rare spawn but he has to have a spawn time and a PH what is it .... Please....

it took me 3 DAYS to finally get him to spawn but i finally killed it yesterday solo with only 9.1 k buffed with Tena and self buffs.took me about 4-5 minutes but wasn't as hard as i thought it would be.had to let my pet do most of the tanking and ended the fight with 76% life and 26% mana and the only AA i had to use was Paragon of Spirit.If i can do this solo,anyone can LOL.

I just downed him solo at 70, with about 6520hp unbuffed. I had only Tenacity, Spirit of Alladnu, and SA on me. He did spawn in the circle near UP on the three wolf spawn, mine spawned in the back of the three.. He was pretty easy, but he did hit hard. I did have to let pet tank.. after all said and done I had about 50% hps and 24% mana. Took me about hour and a half to get him, good luck to other beastlords..

well after a few 8 hour sessions and a few lesser ones was gonna run by and see before i headed off to bed. was there like 10 minutes and he spawns beat me up so i zoned and had a couple guildies come by and we downed him. does spawn at circle fire pit next to Umbral Plains where 3 other spectral or ravenous beasts spawn. just wanted to give a little detail in finding him since i wasnt sure i had the right spot. Got him tonight on 4/21/06, he spawned at the fire pot close to Umbral Plains at the 3 wolf camp.
Took him down without a sweat with a level 70 200AA druid and a 66 Beastlord, all I had to do was pull with druid to Umbral Plains zoneline and dot him for two rounds with bst pet on him. Bst got him slowed on the third try. With him slowed I only had to heal on the druid twice with the druid tanking with 6khp 1400ac.
Dropped epic item first try too.

This mob is a joke, i soloed it easily. Hit me for 550dmg max and spawned after 30 minutes =D. GL other bsts hope it doesnt take as long as it did for Simpikittens to pop =/

i agree. spawned right as my buffs wore off my pet except irionu and haste. pet cleric'd just fine with pet like that. no mana regen on either.

Compared to the drog and walrus, this guy is tough. Hits for 700ish , can quad , still not that much HP like the others but much more DPS, I would bring a strong group to down this one unless your BST can handle its DPS with a cleric. It spawns around -80 , -750 , was a bit of a long spawn for me * 8 1/2 hours of camping *, but im guessing its totaly luck, good luck to all the BST out there after it.

This was much harder then the others, the others I was able to duo with my druid friend, this one spawn and kicked our asses, got a group of guildies to come and gimme a hand and was compelte overkill, though I suppose we were ready for him. We camped him continually for 16 hours one day, and then the night day we camped him for another 8 hours. This camp can be horrifyingly mind numbing and long, other times you can get it in one spawn, it's all the luck of the draw, hope others have better luck then I did.

Located near UP at the Store Fire Cup thingie. It is the big circle on map located semi-close to UP zone.
