I see nothing about the Hit points. Does anyone know what his hit points are?
Completed with 5 level 70's

After a few failed attempts, I finally managed to complete this last night. 3 box of 70 BST (700 aa), 70 Mage (700 aa) and 70 Druid (500 aa) all bazaar geared and all with App 5 mercs setup at the zone line. The mercs were 2 tanks and a healer. 2 other characters joined to help outside the group. A level 70 cleric with 200 aa just parked in the corner to help heal the merc tank. A level 70 bard (200ish aa) pulled. At first, we tried the highsun technique, but it was an utter failure. The DDA roots and if they get on the bard he was pretty much dead even mashing fade. Here is what finally worked...pulled the group with a mez on one of the warders and started selo's while hightailing it down the ramp and back to BL zone line. He faded when he hit then tunnel leading to the zoneline and went back to check. There were 2 warders out in front of the main group (the one mez'd) and a friend. He then tagged those again, selo'd all the way inside the tunnel and faded. At that point the 2 were separated enough to pull back to the zoneline together where we killed them in about 30 seconds. A few more back and forths and the other 3 warders came solo, leaving the DDA sitting alone in the tunnel. It's a little tricky because we didn't clear any of the other mobs, but a full bar of bard mana later (from fading), we had the DDA solo at the zone line. It was not an easy fight with app 5 mercs. The BL, mage and druid blew every cooldown they had but the main tank merc died about 25%. At that point the healer merc was OOM, so the 70 cleric took over healing the 2nd tank. He finally went down after about an 8 minute fight and a happy BST got his 1.5. Probably would have been easier to get some high level help in 2013, but it is possible with a single group at 70 if you have a bard....
Final fight in RCoD

I just finished this fight this morning. I was three boxing my lvl75 BST(346aa), lvl75 Cleric (only 80aa), and lvl72 Monk with not enough aa's to even mention. Each had a tier5 merc (cleric had warrior merc and the other two had clerics). I used the monk to try to pull the animist to the bloodfields zoneline and the adds followed. for some reason the animist and four of the warders stopped at the exit/ent to their cave/tunnel? and only one warder came with me all the way to the zone so I killed it. I took the monk back to get the animist and died there due to the stun, tried to fd but was not successful. I then ran my bst, invised, to get the monks corpse and bring back to the zone for rez. took monk back out and tagged the animist and he and his warders all came with me to the hall leading to the big room near the zl. I fd with them all on top of me just before the four way instersection in the hall. at this point I waited until I got the "enemies have forgotten you message" and positioned my bst at the entrance to the big room/hall and targetted the animist. I have two computers side by side just incase your wondering about that. my bst is on one pc and the cleric and monk are on the other in windowed mode. anyways, with my monk targetting one of the warders I popped her up and ran backwards and threw a starfish at it to get aggro and at the same time cast my slow on the animist with my bst and it worked, I couldn't believe it. all four warders went with the monk where she fd'd and the animist followed my bst to the zone where I proceeded to kill it. I'm not sure how long the fight actually took, maybe 15 min or so, felt like forever. the monk stayed fd the whole time with the warders standing on top of her so the only dps was my bst, her warder and the lvl75 merc tank. the merc tank died when the animist was at about 25% ish health. then I just pretty much chain ch my bst, trying to time my clerics heals with the merc cleric heals to save mana. ended fight with 2% mana on my bst and 3% mana on my cleric. And as I sit here typing this I realize it didn't have to be that close as I completely forgot I have staunch recovery on my cleric, omg. So, I'm glad I was successful with this, I think I got lucky. I let the warders depop so now I have to wait for the turn in npc to respawn. It was a fun fight doing it this way. And by no means am I trying to brag about doing this myself or anything. my gear is bazaar stuff mostly. I'm tired as it's now 2 a.m. here. Basically I'm just saying that the splitting of the animist and his warders is still possible and you can fight him single at the bloodfields zl. The animist never summoned his warders to his aid whe he got low on health like I read in other posts, they sat right there in the hall just past the four way intersection. I hope this helps some of you out there who box and are not in a guild and think you might not ever get your 1.5 (bst anyways) without being in one. Good luck to all the other beastlords going for their 1.5!
Highsun still works 11/10/08

Song of Highsun still works perfectly to gate the Warders back to the spawn point, and the DDA is still very easy to single.
Duo'd him
# May 17 2008 at 6:42 PM Rating: Decent
Finnished my beastlord's epic. Thought I should say hes pretty easy. i jsut duo'ed him. I was playing a 16.8K hp paladin, and my dad was playing a 77, 11K mana cleric (with most heal AA's), a lvl 69 shammmy and a 75 enchanter.

To split him, I first ran the mob and his adds to the zoneline, then zoned back in invised. We had my dad cripple on of the adds on his enchanter, while I stunned the named with my pally. My dad then ran the adds off (adds didn't aggro on paladin when i stunned then named) and died. just after my dad died, i zoned my paladin. So, the adds stayed where my dad died, and the named stayed at zoneline.

To kill it, we had my dads cleric waiting in Bloodfields, and his shammy in RCoD. We had the paladin tanking and back-up healing, and the shammy chain healing. once the shaman got oom, my dad zoned the shaman and brought the cleric in. The paladin then stopped healing and the cleric was just chain CHing, while the shammy was Canni in Bloodfield. We just slowly killed the mob while the cleric and shammy would zone in to heal, and then zone out to gain mana. It was a long fight with the paladin being the only dps, but he eventually died and I logged to my beast to loot the drop. Hope this helps :), GL to everyone else.
DDA easy to split and kill
# Feb 08 2008 at 3:38 PM Rating: Decent
OK finished this fight last night on the Tunare server. Is super easy to split thee up. One way you can actually pull the DDa solo to the BF zone while the warders had up north after your puller. Puller may die if he doesnt have FD or makes it to the zone line.

Anyway we did it both ways but the first time we didnt have the DPS to finish the fight.

What we did last night was have two pullers. One pulled them out of the hallway into the open. The second tagged the DDA and ran to the BF zone. They were all in single file about 50 feet away from each other when the second puller zoned into BF. That left us with just having to kill our way to the DDA that was standing all by himself at the enterence to the HALLWAY jst past the Historian on by the bridge.

We killed our way to him and pulled him in the hall where it was secure. Only thing that happened was he summoned other 2 warders in but by the time they came in he was about to die so it didnt matter.

Can druid pull the DDA with...

Nature's Placidity rank II...

Has anybody tried this and can tell me if you can druid pacify his pets and single pull DDA, or vice versa...knock the pets out first and then get him? The posts I have read said his aggro is not linked to the pets...how far away can he be pulled without leashing his warders? Any info would be great. Thanks much.

So I try to do the epic last night. Friend came and gave me a hand and this is what we discovery.

1) You need a good bard to pull it. I had my 75 bard 11k buff, friend 70 bard 9k buff. Friend got eaten twice as we try to split. In the end took in my 75 necro who got agro and die at zi line but mob was split.

2) You need healers. I was 4 boxing 75 warrior 15k buff 700 aa's , 75 ranger 12k 400 aa's buff, 74 chanter 6k 200 aa's and the 75 bard 70 aa's. Friend had 75 cleric 10k buff 300 aa's and 68 mage.

Fight seem to started out well until the Discordant Feedback hit. Then it was a uphill battle all the way. The events are pretty close to what happen.

1) Chanter die at 80% At this time load second cleric on same account lvl 62 and almost no aa's
2) Mage is throwing one pet in after another and he dies at 40%
3) @42% first cleric is oom and steps back from fight
4) Mage dies at 37% because cleric can no longer heal grp and tank
4) Second cleric is brought in and OOM at 30%
5) Thru out this ranger uses every AA he has to try and increase DPS
6) Tank is kill at 25%
7) Ranger is kill at 24% along with second cleric
8) 75 cleric zones
9) Mobs camps bond so 75 bard hits it with a stun and is summon and dies

Talking it over afterwards, we decide if we had one more real cleric who was in BF while we fought or 1 more dps class we might have been able to do it.

Hope that this helps the next person

Just a quick update to this mob. After I enter in the post, the name pop again and we trying once again. Dinner time for the mob was my friend 70 Bard (Roscoe) who was a champ to take multi deaths to try and split the mob. In the end we had a big train that took out the tank, both cleric and a 67 druid that we brought in hoping to use as another spot healer. No joy this evening.

So we will look at it again tonight and see if we can either get more of a raid going or get someone who is far better at splitting the mob than me.

Will keep you update on what happens

This is not true, or your bard just sucked and was making excuses, I highsun pulled him maybe a month ago without any problems.

I am not Quite here just yet but will be soon.

What size of raid force should be used??

What is it's Hp??

What does it hit for ??

Is there adds to be handeled and how??

The spells it casts whats the Dmg they do??

How long do thies dots ( if any) last??

What cures them??

Need that info so i can Pass it on to My Guilds Raid leader. so we knwo the best way to kill it and the fastest too so there is less deaths when we go to Kill This. There are some out there that are a raid force all to them selves. but i am not one of them and neather are some of the ppl in my guild. That is not to say i dont have the confidence in each and every member of my guild. it is to say that there are people out there that like me want this info so they too can get to this point and pass that info on to the younger beastlords and thier guildys so please....

Took out DDA last night with 75 paladin, rogue, shaman (3-boxed), bst and 73 druid. I spawned the DDA, then we ran into his room together, killed the three adds that were standing around, and immediately engaged the DDA's warders. We just killed the warders one at a time -- they die very quickly -- and then pulled the DDA up into a corner to curb his rampage. It was a very easy fight. The druid and beastlord were mostly unnecessary, as both were oom very quickly from the AE mana drain, but the shaman and paladin were both around 65% mana still at the end of the fight.

So, really, with properly geared folks, this fight can be done with just three people.

Just killed this mob with 3 people 75 rogue, 75 monk, 75 sham also had 70 bard there for pulling. Ok so key to this fight is having 2 pullers. What i did was we set up the rogue and the shaman at the zone. The monk started by pulling out all the mobs from his room and pull them down towards where the grand historian is and FD the monk. Then with ur bard or other puller, pull the adds and as ur pulling the adds have the monk get agro on the DDA. Pull the adds as far away as u can and Fd or fade. As your pulling the adds the monk shud pull the DDA towards the zone in and FD the mob in the room right before zone out. Then buff up get rdy and fight the DDA right by zone out just incase u have any problems. The only problem doin it this way is i think if u kill the adds and the DDA like ur susposed Erana will repop when they all die, but when you dont kill the adds she doesnt repop so u have to wait 2 hrs. Hope this helps, DDA is a little girl fight took about 4 mins. good luck

I had about 15 people when I did this, just a bunch of folks from ooc'ing in PoK, so I had some CoA+ equip and some less than bazaar quality people. We split mobs easy with a level 70 necro doing his thing, but accidently pulled the whole cluster onto us. So we wiped out pets, died, and rezzed to kill the named afterwards. Easy Cheesey as long as you have a necro to FD and rez a cleric np!

The Dda is splittable without 'too' much trouble. His aggro certainy isnt linked to his pets, so dont worry about that.
We set up our grp on the stairs up from the Tjunction to the DDa's room. We used a druid to aggro the whole bunch from the room and train them out, self evaccing to lose aggro. SK tagged the Dda as the druid ran out and FDd. Druid had to train away a couple of times with sk tagging and fding for 2mins each time till we had him single in front of the grp. Fight was very hard with 1 grp, we wiped on first attempt and ended up swapping in a bard for resists, which made a big difference. Second time we won but only just.

Best of luck with it :)

DDA fight
# Feb 08 2006 at 8:37 PM Rating: Decent
DDA hits for 1100 Max, his pets for 750. Offtank his pets, use lots for cures on healers for his AE (put them all in one group with MT to cycle the Radiant Cure, a RC wheel so to speak. Kill him and friends fast, and done.
New Strategy
# Jan 04 2006 at 4:58 PM Rating: Decent
Instead of pulling the DDA, simply set the raid up across from where this guy spawns. The only thing: you will need tanks to off-tank each warder. So, before you spawn the mob, each off-tank should choose a warder to tank (alligator, tiger, bear, scaled wolf, and wolf) while the rest of the raid beats on the DDA. Another thing, it is suggested that you have 2-3 clerics healing the MT while having shamans/druids curing the curse that he casts (a health/mana drainer). All mobs are slowable (partially if memory serves me right).

There are 3 mobs that spawn in the same room, so those will have to be cleared before you begin. I suggest invising to the room, then killing the 3 dragorns. You must engage the DDA and kill him soon before you get those repops.

Since they have tethered the warders to the DDA, they CANNOT be Highsunned back anymore. This fight was NOT meant to be fought at the BF zone-line.

since they are tethered does that rule out only pulling the DDA (using bard pull)?
RE: Final Fight
# Jan 04 2006 at 4:53 PM Rating: Decent
No, it doesn't. But it does rule out Highsunning them back.

This fight was NOT meant to be fought at the zone-line. It would now be much easier to clear to where he spawns and fight him there, off-tanking the warders.
