have killed this mob 9 times and got 9 rings, does this actually drop a sheild or was that a mispost? anyone seen this shield drop yet? also does drop greater runes as well.

This is downstair named feran, to get to this named -- go downstair, take the 3rd left and immediately to the left side you will see a room guarding by 2 gelidrans, there are 3 mobs inside that room, the far left one is the PHer.
