I just killed her tonight and she dropped "Torn Parchment" that identifies as "Message From Neriak." This note reads:
"Tyrana, Be sure you combine three parts Fairy Dust with one part Sand of Ro. Then when we command, you shall venture to Lake Rathetear. There you shall turn a royal fish into a Princess.
She hit me with Boiling Blood and Stun. Got one ring after 7 kills - my guard fraction went to threatening after 12 kills. I used Harmony of Nature on guard and he didnot aggro when I ranged attacked (Ranger) Tyrana or cast flame arrow on her. Casting Cancel Magic on her to pull seems to cause her to recast her buffs.
I don't know if it was because I killed her so many times or if it was because of killing so many guards, but the bankers no longer talk to me. I'm going to have to raise my faction somehow as it is a giant PITA not being able to bank here.
She also drops a Clawed Knuckle-Ring: Magic Item, Fingers, HP +20, Focus Effect: Extended Enhancement II, Wt. 0.1
She is on a 6 minute timer and the guard next to her is on a noticeably longer timer. If you lull her and kill the guard you can usually pull her 3-4 times before the guard respawns.
The ring is a semi rare drop, me and a friend got two of the rings after killing her 13 times. She didn't drop anything the first 10 times we killed her but she dropped one on the 11th and 13th time. Not a bad ring for the level, if you aren't twinked of course. At least you won't have to get a new one until lvl 45. Hope this helps.
Killed her last night, but I learned 2 important things about taking her out. 1 - Keep her rooted so she cannot get a guard. 2 - Have your save magic as high as possible. As a 32 Paladin and a 31 Ranger we would have taken her down easily if we had our save magic up. She ended up fearing the crap out of us and we still got her to less then a tenth of life. However she got the guards to help her.
This is how to do it: Have the main damage dealer with save magic items, I (32 Pally) went back with my Shiny Brass Shield +10 svM, Shaded Blade +5 svM, and put endure magic on us. With a save or two from armor it put my svM at about 60 or 70. Tyrana did not land a single Fear until the moment before the ranger took her down. It was too simple then.
Important though, Harmonize the guard next to her then pull her to the room marked #5 on the eqatlas map. As long as you dont let here leave it is easy. I also recommend if you are a pally to chain stun her. I used cease/desist/stun/bash.
Just killed her. She is a necro without a pet so have your endure poison and disease up as well as magic resist. the faction hits were : NEG- Carson McCabe, coalition of tradefolk illegal, highpass guards, and merchants of highpass. PLUS- ring of scale. the negative faction hit is a serious one. i dropped one complete faction. (i.e. -- i was amiable to the guards now i'm indifferent) so be careful if you havent been hunting the gnolls and orcs like i did at lvl 15. my current lvl is 40 and i did the kill solo. when she walks to the storage room wait a bit cause a Guard Gechop will spawn in the hallway. wait and let him walk to his post down quite a ways since he will help her. then come back and buff up and open up with cancel magic since she has 2 buffs on her that i know of she casts. she seemed to have about as much hps as me but she didnt land any spells with my buffs and liberal use of stuns. she took me down 2 bubs of health . GOOD LUCK FELLOW PALADINS
When fighting her, I saw her cast Leatherskin and Screaming Terror, 2 spells that Shadowknights don't ever get but Necromancers recieve at level 24. On the other hand, I had her nearly dead at one point when she screaming terrored me, she then proceeded to ?!?Heal?!? herself and was back to 80% before the mez wore off. Needless to say I was less than pleased with this outcome. I'll be comeing after her again in a few levels and teach her not to toy with me like that.
In the area she is in, there is a place where there are 2 door next to each other with stone separating them..ex: /|\ i dont know why this is..but it was getting me aggrivated.
She drops a fishfood container, which is required for the Lenya Thex quest. She also carries a note which is in Teir'Dal, and a Leather Whip. Be careful, because the guard that is next to her will jump in if you attack her, you must wait for her to walk to the storage room, where she is alone and far enough away.
